Celtic are not in a good place at the minute.
Dembele is recovering from injury (again) Griffiths is not match-fit Boyata is in a sulk and won't play Ajer is crocked
Frustration in the transfer market has upset the BRodger and Porto fancy our best player Ntcham, so the omens are not too good. If they do lose, then they drop into the qualifying rounds of the Europa League which in all honesty is just about their level, albeit the CL is much more lucrative and glamorous.
Not optimistic about getting a result from this game.

It's a shame, if Celtic can get through, next round looks easier.
Boyata insists he is unfit, not sulking🤔

Word about today that if Celtic fail to qualify for Champions League, Ntcham wants out to Porto.
Nae pressure the night then.

1-0 to AEK already.
I fear an utter humping.

A suggestion that, with outrageous audacity, implies that there are would-be major trophy winning sides out there in Europe who would take Rodgers on

Well AEK Athens is not a bad team sure they are not on the level as the great teams of Europe. But they are more than good enough to beat Celtic. So its not surprising that they are beating Celtic.

That Hearts strategy really paid off.
Crikey, this commentator! On Boyata (and I quote) "A disgrace. Not fit to wear the hoops of Celtic again. Get him out!" Objectivity has gone out the window here. You get the feeling a chair is gonna go flying out of his commentary box before too long.

Match report is in.
Glasgow Celtics go lose their Euro Soccer Cup qualificization game to A-OK Athens. The Ghuys lost 3 to 2 on aggregization but got themselves a road trip goalshot which sent their fans home happy, singing a bunch of songs about how they’re gonna go own EPL Scotland again anyways.
