What are your thoughts on this? I might enjoy it more if almost everyone in it wasn't so wooden and the dialogue so stilted. I feel the former must be a deliberate stylistic choice.

I enjoy it but it gets on my nerves a little for the reasons you mentioned. I prefer Fincher's The Game, which had a similar concept.
