...they just don't realize it's Obamacare, and are (strangely) giving Trump credit for the thing he's actually trying to destroy: Source: www.washingtonpost.com/politics/who-to-trust-when-it-comes-to-health-care-reform-trump-supporters-put-their-faith-in-him/2017/03/16/1c702d58-0a64-11e7-93dc-00f9bdd74ed1_story.html?utm_term=.484f842bd6d5This brings me to a point I've made before. Some people have told me healthcare will be Trump's undoing, and that when his supporters start losing their healthcare, or paying significantly more for it they will turn on him. My rebuttal is that the Trump true-believers are too stupid to realize they've been duped, and will convince themselves that they lost their healthcare not because of Trump, but due to some plot by George Soros, Hillary Clinton and Jeremiah Wright to make Trump look bad. Also, I've been called an a**hole several times recently for saying I am happy that many Trump supporters will soon lose their healthcare (or bankrupt themselves trying to hold on to it). Now maybe you see where I'm coming from. p.s. And this is only the most recent story like this I've come across-people who love their healthcare, but are so uninformed they really don't understand that it's Obamacare.

Yep. Republicans literally live in a post-factual world now. When they lose their healthcare, they will blame Obama for it. And the only justification needed will be "But democrats blamed Bush for things!" It will be the same with the wall. I wouldn't be at all surprised if the wall is never built - but wall will be built on some tiny fraction of the border, with Trump going for a photo-op standing infront of a bulldozer and a pile of bricks, and republican voters will believe that there really is a wall there. And nothing will ever convince them otherwise. I wouldn't go so far as to say I'm happy about it. But I say that these people are getting what they voted for, and so they should certainly be happy about it.
