I don't understand pinching. You grab, pat, or smack a butt. There's no satisfaction in pinching, for either party I wouldn't think.
Having said all that, to answer your question yes for non-pinching a few times to someone I was with when there was either no one around or I just didn't care.

Have you considered the possibly that at least some of the instances involved lovers, partners, family or friends?
And not all instances of such behaviour necessarily involve a sexual motive.

I've had people pinch my butt, including strangers in public. In fact, that happened just a couple months ago--I told the story here. I was just taking out the garbage, and I was hardly trying to look my best, but a couple (probably drunk) girls came up behind me and pinched my butt and gave me a compliment. I was flattered. I should have tried to capitalize on it better, but they descended and departed too quickly--probably on their way to some club or other--for me to put my brain into gear and promptly act to make anything more come of it, if only some contact info or whatever.
