When a school sends a team on a road trip to compete for the school, does the school pay for the trip or do the students pay for the trip?
I've always thought that the schools pay for the trip to send their students to compete for the school. But on the MCU board, several MCU fans have claimed that the school doesn't pay for the trip and that the students have to pay for the trip. Is that true? Or are MCU fans just idiots?

Every trip I have seen the parents have to pay for at least a part of it. If it is for a school competition, like the one in Spiderman: Homecoming, then I could see it going either way. I know if I went on a trip like that at my high school, I would have had to pay. Many times, too, the school will take care of a lot of the expenses, but the children still have to pay something. When my children go on trips, usually I have to pay. When we went to Washington DC when I was in high school, I have to pay like $300 or something. I am sure the school covered some of the expenses. Most of the time, they pay for travel simply by providing the bus and gas. I am kind of rambling now. I would just say that it is pretty even either way, but I see the kids paying most of the time.

You have to answer the question behind the question. The answer is “Who is the real idiot, the Marvel fan who wasn’t sure how a school trip is paid for, or the person that took the time out of his day to pose the question when all he’s really saying is that his comic book movies are better than yours.”

The final four of what ? Villanova is a small upscale community in PA. He must be referring to the local high school. And the final four must be the four national finalists of the academic decathalon. Apparently, the OP thinks the academic decathalon is a sports event. Laugh among yourselves.

Remember the last time DC-Fan made a thread that wasn't complaining about either the Patriots or the MCU, or praising the Cowboys' idiocy?
Yeah, me neither.

In my town, the schools, especially the high school are always trying to push a new school budget come election time each year. One time it was about sending the marching band to Hawaii, and another time they wanted the tax payers to budget sending the lacrosse team cross country to compete. Fuck that! If they wanna send the cheer leading squad to compete at Disney World, have their freaking parents foot the bill, not people who don't even have kids in school!
