So I saw the newly released thriller Dark Crimes oddly enough starring Jim Carrey. Wow this film was bad. Its such a dead film. Nothing happens. Its the most basic and generic thriller you can think of. The pacing is so slow that it gets painfully boring. Plus Carrey tries to pull of Eastern European accent but it seems to change or in some cases just sound off.
Im giving it a 2/10. Anyone see this film?

It is terrible, mainly due to the writing. Jim Carrey is easily the best thing about the film imo, inconsistent accent aside.

Haven't seen it but sounds like The Number 23. Its completely different. The Number 23 I thought was interesting but flawed as hell. But still way better than Dark Crimes. |
