The kettle! So vedy British! Earl gray, I'm sure. Biscuits? Earl Grey tea is one of the few blends I don't enjoy.
My personal favourite is Ceylon Orange Pekoe.
And yes, I have biscuits.
The next time I'm in the neighborhood, my friend. And I'll even bring the biscuits. |

Earl Grey tea is one of the few blends I don't enjoy.
My personal favourite is Ceylon Orange Pekoe.
And yes, I have biscuits.
The next time I'm in the neighborhood, my friend. And I'll even bring the biscuits. If my mum was still alive, she could do a beautiful fruit cake. Full and fruity, with a rich, strong brandy flavour. 
She use to soak the mixed fruit in brandy overnight before she baked the cakes. 
They went down lovely with a cup of tea.

She didn't have it written down. She did it all from memory that predated my birth.
I remember scraps of it, but focused more on other recipes.
As much as I like sweet things, I prefer savoury ones even more.
