Wire hangers - Mommie Dearest Isn't the point of the scene that she was bothered by something that's not an everyday situation?

I am surprised no one has mentioned Groundhog Day. It was the same everyday situation everyday, that was totally and utterly frustrating.

The McDonald's scene in Falling Down is classic. I wonder if this movie had any influence on McDonald's changing their breakfast to an all day thing.

The scene when the kid is watching that horrible kid's show is hilarious imo.

One of my favorites is talked about in Se7en.
John Doe being so upset by small talk that he vomits on the person talking to him.

Wire hangers - Mommie Dearest Isn't the point of the scene that she was bothered by something that's not an everyday situation? i guess I was looking at this as her beating her kid for having wire hangers which seems like odd behavior

My roommate loves it and the premise sounds great. And I like Bill Murray a lot. I could go for a good comedy. It is a straight up comedy, isn't it?

I guess you could put the wire hanger thing to someone being bothered by their child doing weird stuff, which is kind of an everyday situation for parents.

I must be remembering wrong. I thought the kid was collecting wire hangers. Sorry, only seen it once and quite a while ago.

I love Dunaway's OTT performance and the movie itself is okay camp imo. I have no idea how accurate the movie is, because I know very little about the life of Joan Crawford.
