No takers for this one? Here we go again then :
We're in the land of pale sticky candy floss/cotton candy, colourful striped flags, millions of pebbles, a dilapidated broken pier that's stuck some 300 meters out in the sea and now split in two by storms a few years back, red and cream coloured buses, and a special kind of seagull which is notoriously adept at sh*tting on people who aren't seen to be enjoying themselves and smiling : they've been queuing up all day to have a pop at Mourinho.
Come on you 'Gulls. A point at least.
Albion: Ryan; Montoya, Dunk, Duffy, Bong; Knockaert, Stephens, Propper, March; Gross; Murray Subs: Button, Bernardo, Balogun, Kayal, Bissouma, Jahabakhsh, Locadia
United: De Gea; Young, Lindelof, Bailly, Shaw; Fred, Pereira, Pogba, Mata; Lukaku, Martial Subs: Grant, Smalling, Herrera, Fellaini, McTominay, Lingard, Rashford
Brighton 5/1 Man Utd 8/11 Draw 13/5

Nothing doing. Fifteen gone and it's very much 50/50, a couple of attempts on goal by Martial, one well wide, the other charged down before it could take flight. Lukaku went a yard wide on '9 from yards out when he ought to have scored. Brighton are getting forward well, forcing United to clear in an untidy fashion at times, hoofing it away, "getting rid" of it. The United fans chant "José Mo-reeenio José Mo-reeenio" as they did last week. They quite like him, I think.

Brighton lose their captain Lewis Dunk on '18. He's been struggling after an earlier tussle with Lukaku and hobbles off.

Ooh, Knockaert cheats the offside trap '18 and outruns Shaw. He's got a chance on goal. But no, he kind of scuffed it and it goes wide.

'25 gone and a terrible clearance from United is picked up by Brighton. The cross comes in for Murray who drives it home from close range. One-nothing.

Brighton kept the momentum going and forced the ball deep into the United half. The ball is passed about before the cross comes in for Duffy who deftly sends it beyond the flailing De Gea. Two-nothing, the 'Gulls. And I do not hear any chants of "José Mo-reeenio" at the moment.

Luke Shaw pumps one in from the edge of the area on '34. It's deflected off Bong, I think, and veers toward the eager head of Lukaku who nods it quite easily past Ryan. Brighton were getting behind the ball well following their second goal but that deflection has now halved their advantage.
Let's just wait for this free-kick on '38. Gross and Knockaert standing over it, outside the United area. Who's going to take it? It's Knockaert. It curls but it curls too much and is no bother for De Gea.

Minutes before the break and Pascal Gross streaks into the area with the goal a-gaping. Bailley can't catch him legally so scythes him down without mercy. No hesitation from the ref and Gross steps up to the spot. He fires it low and central, De Gea gets down and it ricochets off his body and up into the goal. 3-1 here but what was Bailley thinking? In fact where was the rest of the United rearguard?

The players go off for the interval. It's hard to guess where Mourinho will start. United have been careless in defence, unimaginative in midfield and up front only Lukaku has had a shot on target which was the goal.

Nearly an hour gone and Brighton continue to tether United in midfield. The visitors just put together a dozen-plus pass exchange between themselves in around the centre circle without looking anything like going beyond the centre circle. When they finally do they gain a corner. Young delivers it, Pogba heads wide.

Fellaini is warming up as we pass the hour mark. Yes, he's coming on for Martial.

A long ball is sent forward for Lingard but there's too much power on it and it beats Lingard to the byline and rolls out of play. Meanwhile Mourinho is having a moan to the linesman who appeared to wave him away with his flag and having none of it.

Now Mourinho is hassling the fourth official, gesturing with his leg in a kicking motion as if to say god knows what. Is he moaning about these stray balls from Pogba? I'm not sure how the official can help him on that one.
Glenn Murray is booked for standing his ground as Lindelof jumps for a ball and ends up clambering and falling all over the Brighton man. A bit harsh on Murray? Twenty minutes left here.
