X-men Days of Future Past (This was a tricky one) Iron Man Infinity War The Dark Knight Rises Seriously how is TDKR losing? Doctor Strange is a mid tier MCU movie, a solid 7 or so. TDKR was drastically better, it's an easy top 5 Superhero movie. Doctor Strange isn't even top 25. Because MCU, X-Men and DCEU fans are extremely prejudice against Chris Nolan.

I would not consider these MCU fanboy polls as representative.

Also, Strange is hot right now. His Ragnarok and IW appearances boost his own movie a bit. Plus DS was a solid, straight line with visuals that were quite similar to Nolan films (Batman Begins and Inception, both of which are well loved and the familiar visuals trigger a good feeling). In addition, while TDKR was a great film, it also was the least liked (typically) in the trilogy, disappointed people, the Talia bit was not viewed highly, and a good number of fans didn’t see it as a fitting end. It had a lot of great scenes, but it also was long and had some unfavorable scenes. That’s why I thought this round was tough. BB and TDK would both win this fight, I’m sure. 🤷♂️

In my opinion Rises has a lot going for it, but I had problems with:
Bruce taking 8 years off because of the death of Rachel. If anything that should've harden him more to go out and protect the innocent.
The whole third act was there for the Talia al Ghul twist. Which was ugh. Yeah super villain plans tend to be grandiose. The irony of using Bruce's good dead to destroy the city, takes him down a peg. You know what would also taken him down a peg. Talia biting his dick off while she was fucking him.
The actual thought that the SEC/Exchange would honor trades done during a heist.
Blake knowing Bruce was Batman from a look.
The shitty way Bruce dealt with Alfred. Not just hey give the guy a heads up that you have a plan to survive the bomb. How about something at the grave yard that would only tip off Alfred you aren't dead. Why make him wait? Also every other scene he was a *** to Alfred.
The autopilot twist and the happily ever after. Again why are you taking a break again?
The throwaway Robin line and his inheritance of the Batcave. Bruce trained for years. He became a fucking ninja to be a Crime fighter. Blake with bat tech and police training is going to die in his first week.
A prison having Directv in the cells.
The punch method of chiropractic care.
Him showing up back in Gotham because he's Batman.
Comish Gordon ordering every cop into the sewers. Not 1/3rd every cop.
Most of the movie seemed contrived and built on Nolan trying to give a big twist ending. It's still acted well and shot well. The Airplane scene is awesome. To me it was a big Conceco swing and miss where Dr. Strange was a bunt single.
Edit: Everything was acted well except. Talia's death scene. That might be the worst death scene in 20 years.
edit 2: just noticed it edited C U Next Tuesday.

Anything that confirms your bias, right? lol, the vote by the largest popular film forum is a good objective indication of the general public consenus regardless of any "bias", it's confirmed by the audiece voting of the other big forums too.
If you distract current MCU-hype factor and CGI aging, I am afraid Dr Strange will age a lot worse, a lot worse.
Needless to say, TDK Rises is leagues more impressive and thought provocing a film than Dr Strange is - the latter was a vapid, derivative mediocrity - hell, it even had awkward pop culture-Beyoncé references and the main music theme was a blatant rip off of the Star Trek 2009 theme with a bit of hindo spice; don't get me started on the Inception/Matrix special effects and the re-re-re-re-regugitated jerk-becomes-superhero arc. MCU would be wise not to give this a sequel.

Nolan is a good director, but he's not the cinematic messiah everyone makes him out to be. He's a slightly richer man's JJ Abrams.

Batman Begins, Dark Knight, and Batman Returns have all won their first rounds. TDKR is seen as the weakest of the 3 Nolan’s, though. So it’s just not faring as well, for reasons stated above.

Logan: 9 X-men Days of Future Past: 8
Batman Beyond Return of the Joker: 2 Iron Man: 13
Batman: 2 Avengers Infinity War: 15
Doctor Strange: 10 The Dark Knight Rises: 7
This one has ended too, Logan just scrapped it but yeah I'm surprised TDKR is out because Doctor Strange was the last one I picked for the MCU mainly at random to get it to a round 10.

Doctor Strange beating TDKR certainly is an upset and probably the only upset we've had in this tournament.
