First live game of the season for Father Jack this evening 🙆

Highworth Town in League tonight.
FA Cup match against Wantage on Saturday.
Bristol Manor Farm away bank holiday Monday fixture.

Introducing one half of the Swans' new forward pairing, Tornado Bello. He's a big lad, made quite a name for himself playing around Cornwall for his positive attacking play. He's an ex-Nigeria under 17 international, who has played in the Africa Cup of Nations. Photo is of him in action for Newquay Town, where he was a firm fan favourite. He isn't eligible for today's game, but I look forward to seeing him play in FA Cup action on Saturday. Welcome Tornado 🙋  |

Our 2nd new striker signing, Edji Mbunga, is eligible to play this evening, don't know if Drive the Swans manager will play him tonight, or wait to pair him up front with Tornado on Saturday... I expect Edji will get at least some game time today. Edji has played at a higher level, for Gloucester City and Redditch. He's not a complete unknown to the Wisloe Road faithful... He played a couple of games for us last season under dual-registration... He certainly impressed, very pacy. Now he's a full time Swan. Welcome Edji 🙋  |

Just ended 0-0. Very scrappy half that in both senses of the word. Ref was very lenient, players getting away with all sorts... Difficult to see where a goal was gonna come from. Still, if you can't win, don't lose... Take a point apiece. Onward to Saturday and a hard FA Cup game against Wantage. |
