That's why it says "as the artist" instead of "as an artist." If we're just naming any artist and a song that begins with that letter, I wouldn't propose it and I'd wait for the next topic. I see. You should've made that a rule in your OP, admit it. So 19 people understand the game with no problem and 1 gets cute. Fine. So pick every band with The and use T for every one to get the list over with instead of thinking. It either sticks out like a sore thumb, or everyone gets cute. The game is only good when it's not too hard and not too easy. I felt that I picked a topic that hit that, but then someone wanted to make it easy. I wouldn't have an issue if someone used either E or J for Elton John, for example. Add it back, fine. And by the way, the Beatles had no song called "Try Look, dickhead, there is no rule stating that the word "the" is to be omitted under any circumstance, which means that an OP who hates the word "the" must in the OP demand it not be used . That's "understanding the game." |
