I think I stopped wearing jersey's around 16 or so with players names on the back. Are you that guy? To each their own - more power to ya - just seeing if you're that 50 year old balding guy in the stands with glasses and a jersey tucked into your skinny jeans with 2018 Jordans on. And if so - Go for it! You do you!

Well....You may wear your sports teams jersey and may not even watch a game of your team. I find many people like that. And you may be like me who doesn't get sleep for about 40 hour because Houston got eliminated but who has never wore his team's jersey. I am a serious fan but I don't wear team jersey. It's just not my thing.

It's just not my thing. I tend to roll with lounging around with my Flyers, Phillies, Sixers and Eagles gear on in the privacy of my own home with boxers on and a beer can in each hand. Going out into the public - i.e. - work or picking up milk/beer - i tend to tighten it up a bit with just a solid colored t-shirt - but that's just how this guy rolls.

Well I'm not 50, balding with glasses and a tucked in shirt, but my jersey collection is insane, and most of them never get worn. During the NFL season I'll wear a jersey to watch the game. During NBA playoffs (or the rare big game in the regular season), or NHL playoffs I'll throw on a jersey to watch the game. It's fun. I'm not one of those dudes that wears them to the supermarket (though I'm not judging, it's just not my thing). I do have a few of those 'shirseys' (t-shirt with a player name/number on the back) that I'll wear occasionally. Ironically I don't usually wear jerseys when I go to the actual games, but only because I don't want something to get spilled on it-- those things ain't cheap.
The only jersey I wear in public on a regular basis are soccer national team jerseys. Soccer shirts are comfortable attire in the summer.
Oh and another thing: I don't do cosplay (god bless those who do) but I'm the kind of guy who wears a Batman shirt to a Batman movie.

Orr, Bird, Brady and Papi? i still have my old school hockey 'sweaters' i spent a fortune on as a kid - but i never put names on them - Whalers, Flames, Ducks, Senators, have to go into my attic at some point - probably molded over. was big into old school baseball jerseys too. have these sweet old school white sox jersey - famous place around here called Mitchell & Ness if anybody is into unis....

Will wear a team I support shirts, but no names or numbers on back, that's for bin lids.
I also wear any international club or national shirts I find in charity shops... That's just football fan culture cool over yer đ
And never, I mean never, go FKW if you're an adult đ (unless it's at a Christmas match where everyone has to play and then go drinking as an FKW of a team they support. I've done that).

For t-shirts I have Tom Brady, Cam Neely, Paul Pierce, David Ortiz, Ted Williams, Julian Edelman (probably my second favorite Patriot of all time). For jerseys, don't even get me started. Ironically I have far more jerseys than sports t-shirts when the t-shirts are a better value. They'll get more use because I'll actually wear them casually year round.

I suppose I could really confuse people and wear a Nigeria shirt.

A few years ago my wife and I were having dinner with a friend (who is not a sports fan at all). It was during the Deflategate nonsense, so she asked, "So, how do we feel about Tom Brady?" I believe she meant to ask how we felt about the content of his character. My wife immediately replied, "Oh, I would have sex with Tom Brady." I have yet to invite him over, though. Also, do you think it's more embarrassing or less embarrassing that I also have a Celtics jersey with my own name on the back?

Honestly it's not my thing but I don't have a problem with people wearing jerseys around casually. I wear t-shirts for bands or movies or teams that I like, what's the difference? He likes the Vikings or Randy Moss, just like I like the Blues Brothers and Led Zeppelin. Hopefully he has the sense not to wear that to a job interview or his wedding anniversary dinner. It would be weird if everyone walked around wearing blank t-shirts or dress shirts out of the office. A friend of mine permanently wears a suit jacket because that's just his lifestyle. Just do you, it's all good with me. Father Jack made a good point about taking it too far. I once saw a guy in his 50s rocking a complete Kobe Bryant outfit-- jersey and shorts. Just walking around the mall. What the hell.

Listen, youâre not fooling anyone here. Donât for one second pretend youâre straight out of the pages of GQ sipping scotch in your Vineyard Vines with George Clooney while playing smooth jazz on your Bang & Olufson. Youâre a Zubaz wearing face painting calf tattooed Reebok Answer wearing every jersey owning morherfucker and you know it.
