I won't be so long winded on this one. Hands down the best thing about the DCEU is the Characterization and Handling of Wonder Woman. With a retaliative new Actress and the tight rope walk that character has to walk. She has to be strong, pro woman, determined, and loving without being perceived as a man-hating bitch. And they pulled it off stunningly.
The worst thing the rudderless and spotty handling of the universe and characters. It seems whatever the public said they tried to fix the characters and universe in each subsequent movie. They started out with an idea for the world and for it's characters and scrapped most of it. Then doubled down on some of the more questionable aspects. Leading to sporadic quality.

Best: Man of Steel and Wonder Woman. The casting of Batman and the brilliant arc that Zod had.
Worst: Everything else

I think the best thing about them is their costumes. Their costumes always have this polished look to them, makes them look very high quality. The designs are also pretty great even if I don't always agree with them (*cough*Flash*cough). This is something the DCEU does better than other superhero studios. Even their CW superhero shows generally have better-quality costumes than other superhero TV shows.
The worst thing about them is their seeming inability to allow their movies to breathe and feel organic. They seem far too concerned in making their movies feel epic that they load them with money-shots and cool scenes but forget to give them scenes where the characters can just be actual people. Wonder Woman was the only movie they had to break from this mold but even WW felt pretty stiff at times.

Worst: The bastardisation of every character that isn't Wonder Woman. What’s wrong with Commissioner Gordon?

Worst: The bastardisation of every character that isn't Wonder Woman. What’s wrong with Commissioner Gordon? His side job at the Daily Bugle.

BEST: The cast. No matter how I feel about certain films, I've never had a problem with any of the casting. I think everyone is great in their roles.
WORST: Aside from Wonder Woman, the movies feel poorly pieced together. All the Snyder films feel like three pretty good stories jammed into one mediocre (at best) movie, and Suicide Squad definitely has this vibe that it was a totally different movie that was re-cut into something else.

Had it only been Cavill, Gadot, Affleck and Momoa then I'd have agreed with you. But then you have Eisenberg as Lex, Thewlis as Ares, Ezra Miller as Flash, all of whom were pretty bad casting choices. Heck, even Will Smith as Deadshot was kinda off.

I personally enjoyed Ezra Miller. I had the worst expectations for Will Smith and Eisenberg when I heard about it, but I ended up surprised by them. Mostly Eisenberg because they made him more Silicon Valley than Wall Street. My biggest criticism of other comic book properties is that there are too many basic CEO type villains. I also liked Margot Robbie and Jai Courtney. I kind of forgot about Thewlis though. Didn't care much for Ares the character in general so I don't believe it had to do with the casting.

BEST: Their aspiration to be different from Marvel.
WORST: They went too far and are falling behind because of it.
Vassaggo I saw your post and 100% agree. If it was something between the scale of Man of Steel and the tone of Wonder Woman, goddamn would they give Marvel a run for their money.

The worst thing is that you have to wait so long to see the next movie. The best this we are finally getting movies other than Batman and Superman.

If you liked them then good for you. Majority of the world didn't seem to share the same opinion though.

Best - They're at least producing movies instead of putting Superman in a 40yr vault.
Worst - Hilariously trying to be MCU, down to their production & release timelines, ensembles, & sense of humour. Failing spectacularly at it.
Probably should put Superman & friends in a vault for 5-10yrs after this fcuk mess.

It was everything surrounding them. But I guess we will see if that's true when they work with other filmmakers for the future DC movies.
