Yes, and I've seen a lot of the book adaptations. It's a mixed bag but every time a new film or TV series is announced I get pumped up anyway. And the latest ones - IT, Gerald's Game, Castle Rock - have been good.

The film stars John Lithgow and Jason Clark so that's good. But I don't know anything about the directors, Kevin Kolsch and Dennis Widmyer. I am hoping for the best as this is my favorite SK novel.

Well John Lithgow as Jud Crandall sounds really promising to me.

The Pet Sematary remake gets some side-eye from me--I may still be traumatized from The Dark Tower--but Lithgow being on board actually makes me hopeful.

Not a movie but i think the 1998 adaptation of Charles Dickens Our Mutual Friend is very good.

Far From the Madding Crowd (1967) was excellent, can't fault it.
