Okay, I watched her first appearance as Susan and thought she was just awful. I couldn’t stand her. I’ve heard that Stacey Haiduk (not sure of the spelling) was not a very good actress, but this was pathetic. You can’t recast Eileen Davidson’s portrayal of Susan and Kristen with mediocrity. I’m so glad that she’s only on temporarily. Here’s hoping Eileen comes back.

It doesn't get much better on Friday...
I have no problem with recasts because sometimes they work well, such as Chad or Brady, but Kristen/Susan is too iconic of a character to recast IMO.

Really? All I'm seeing is praise for her Susan and Kristen. I liked her as Susan, made me forget about Eileen. As for Kristen, it was ok, but I kept thinking about those scenes would have been better with Eileen since she's the one with the history. I like Stacy though, and I think she's doing a good job with what she was given. It can't be easy to fill Eileen Davidson's shoes.

She's ok, definitely better after a few episodes. I think she's better as Susan than Kristen. it's just so hard to see this happening without Eileen.

I agree Leafs. I’m starting to come around with her portrayal of Susan. But there’s something missing in the way she plays Kristen. Eileen has this way of delivering a craft of a woman who’s been destroyed mentally and physically. You can feel her anger and rage as well as her personal loss of a life without love. Especially children. Stacy just doesn’t have that in her.
