the truth that there is no way a single plane could collapse a 100 story skyscrapermade from reinforced steel by crashing into one of its upper floors? You people are so cute. Why is is so implausible? A plane going hundreds of mph hits a building with immense force, said building catches on fire. Fire spreads, destroys intregrity of said building, building collapses as upper floors crush lower floors. What about this is so difficult to believe?

What about this is so difficult to believe? the build oil ng stood For an hour before it suddenly collapsed entirely like a controlled demolition. During that hour, the only fire and smoke came from the point of impact spanning maybe several floors at most, the rest of the building was unaffected, so the only structural compromise was in around the 70th floor. So unless that smoldering fire somehow teleported to the bottom of the building and still remained completely invisible from the outside, how could the building just die like that? If you set a tree branch on fire, does the whole tree suddenly fall down? No.

9/11 truthers are fun people. It's rare that you encounter a group so absolutely clueless, and yet so determined to believe that they know what they're talking about.

I realize you people are just egging me on, trying to see what wacky things you can squeeze out of me. I dont claim to know the absolute truth, just what I see and certain implausible aspects of it. I am open to explanation, but so far none I have heard have ever sold me on the whole thing entirely. But if you must, I will tack on my obligatory disclaimer, "theres probably something we're all missing and havent realized yet".

I realize you people are just egging me on, trying to see what wacky things you can squeeze out of me. Nope. That's the thing, though. You don't have any basis to make judgments on the plausibility of it. Unless you're a structural engineer of some sort, which it's apparent that you are not. The actual experts who have looked into this extensively come back saying "yeah, planes hit the buildings and they collapsed, and here's a exactly how and why." The truther response is to either completely ignore that, or pretend that those people must be lying. Given that explanations have been provided, and you have not accepted them, I don't believe that you are.

You dont have to be a structural engineer to know that a game of jenga does not suddenly end after just a few blocks from the top are removed.

Okay...
Keep eye contact, maintain a neutral expression on your face and ever so slowly, inch your way, one step at the time, towards the nearest exit.
Whatever you do, don't rush and don't break eye contact!

My former boss was a racist and a bigot, and also a creationist who would taunt everyone smugly with that old conversation-stopper, "If the theory of evolution says that men are descended from monkeys [it doesn't], then why are there still monkeys today? Hmmmmm?" The silence that would follow this question assured her that she was correct; she didn't suspect that we were all groaning inwardly and were now even more certain that she was an ignoramus. She was content that we were in agreement with her statement; we were content that we would still be collecting a paycheck. That's the way the working world goes.

In which case, I'd be unemployed again before lunch, because I wouldn't be able to shut up.
There's no way I could resist "going" her.

This is WTC Building 7 that collapsed hours after the planes hit the main two towers.
I am amazed anyone can watch this and NOT think it is a controlled demolition. Trust your "lyin'" eyes; not the government. Especially not the Bush/Cheney government.

I'm not going to insult you, I just feel sorry for you. The idea that this was a conspiracy orchestrated by the U.S. government is ridiculous. How many people were in on this plan to kill American citizens, and why have none of them talked? You could NEVER keep a conspiracy this large from leaking.

Already, you assume too much.

the truth that there is no way a single plane could collapse a 100 story skyscrapermade from reinforced steel by crashing into one of its upper floors? My father is a civil engineer and was assistant commissioner of NYC bridges at that time and he explained it to me. It wasn't the force of the plane, it was the fires. The fires bent the metal supporting the buildings enough that they eventually broke apart and then Jack feel down.
