Considering how Big Bang theory and cosmological evolution works, not really. It would be kind of like dropping a bag full of marbles, watching them scatter and calling that a "creation"

The smallest visible particles are electrons, protons, and nutrons. The protrons and nutrons are inside the nucleus. Electrons orbit the nucleous. This is an atom. Zoom out. The Earth is a round spherical object. The moon orbits the Earth. Zoom out. The sun is the center of the galaxy, the Earth and other planets orbit the sun. Zoom out. The Milky Way Galaxy is orbited by Satellite dwarf galaxies. This is a Design, obviously. You have to believe it was created. It's too perfect. For whatever reason the universe is a series of round objects orbiting bigger round objects. What the fuck do I care? |

With such quantum acumen you should write MENSA... and ask if they need a janitor. Why can no one combat this? Just dish insults? There is nothing to combat. 'Lots of round things therefore god' isnt an argument. |

If it's a design, then the designer is not qualified to be creating designs that involve conscious beings. Which would make the designer either malicious or incompetent.

The various planets are all close to being perfect spheres and that's because of gravity. If you're anywhere on the surface of a planet and you drop a ball it falls down, towards the center of the planet, not east, west, south or up. That's the same force that keeps planets in their elliptical orbits around the Sun. On a planet the gravity fields work like this:  You will note that the direction of down varies upon where someone is located. Only with a spherical object is down directly below your feet. Let's imagine that Earth suddenly becomes a cube, like in the Bizarro World of comic books. The land not only looks flat but really is flat, whatever face of the cube you're on. Now, if you're at the center of a cube face everything feels pretty much the same. If you drop something it falls directly to the floor and that's on a straight line to the center of the earth. However, the further you go from the cube-face center the pull of gravity is no longer at your feet but at an angle. You're not only walking northeast but you're also walking up, opposing gravity. It gets worse at the edge of the cube-faces, particularly at one of the cube corners. So you're close to an edge, you drop something. It doesn't fall down but instead it falls towards the center of the cube face. Unless you exert yourself you'll fall to that same center. Rocks, sand, water are also subject to gravity and they'll move to the cube face center. After awhile you no longer have a cube but something more spherical. With time it'll become a sphere. It can't be anything else. No God necessary. |
