I never get shirts with a player name on the back. I shake my head at people who go out and buy their NFL team's top draft pick jersey before he's played a single down for the team. How's those DeShone Kizer, EJ Manuel and Geno Smith jerseys working out for you? |

She wants to get a new Josh Allen one this year and I won't let her. Keep telling her she's not jinxing another Bills QB. |

I got a black Man Utd jersey - (the 1993/94 one with gold and blue trim) and I got Andrei Kanchelskis and the 14 on the back. Less than a year later, both the black jerseys and Andrei were gone....
Ever since, I have refused to ever get a name on the back of a jersey.
I once wanted to buy a San Diego Chargers jersey, but they simply did not offer an option to get a jersey with a number not used by a player. Didn’t buy it.
I got a Man Utd jersey some time later, and they refused to sell me one without a name or number on the back (why I don’t know) and I got #1 and Man Utd on it. I loved that jersey. Someone nicked it....

I'd pay the same price for a plain old #8 without the 32 letters for the last name. Yaztrzemski never had his name on the back of a home jersey, nor did Williams. I simply don’t get this. With the shipping etc, the Chargers jersey was about $150, Slightly less to get a Rivers, LT or Gates jersey. Luckily I didn’t get an LT one - he was gone the following season. |

Was very close to getting a Liverpool shirt with Cheyrou on the back when I heard he was gonna be the next Zidane but thankfully didn't go ahead with the purchase
