I liked American Crime a lot. But I don't think I would have bothered to start watching it if Felicity Huffman wasn't one of the stars.

I mainly watched the TV series The Last Ship for Rhona Mitra, though I didn’t mind the show. Of course, the channel which aired it here stopped after Season 2, so if I'd wanted to see the later seasons, I would've had to get it on DVD or Blu-ray. After finding out that Rhona Mitra's character didn't survive the Season 2 final, I wasn't really interested in watching any further anyway. |

In the three cases I only started watching because of the actor and actresses mentioned, but I kept watching the shows because I truly enjoyed them. Then there were shows (I remember at least two) that I started watching because of a particular actress, but dropped after a couple of episodes because they didn't meet my expectations. One was a comedy with Sarah Michelle Gellar and Robin Williams, and the other a drama with Kelly Reilly playing a brilliant neurologist who was bipolar and sometimes chose not to take her medication, to experience the wild side.

Then there is "The Guild", a web series that I only started to watch because of my undying love for Felicia Day, the show's creator and star.

Right now, I'm not giving up on Take Two because of Rachel Bilson.

I watch a lot of shows 'cause I like the actors that are going to be in them and I often end up liking the shows too and I watched 'Travelers' 'cause I was a fan of Mackenzie Porter as a singer, 'Dark Matter' for Melissa O'Neil,'Continuum' for Rachel Nichols, 'Falling Skies' for Sarah Carter, 'True Blood' for Anna Paquin, 'Bitten' for Laura Vandervoort and 'Chuck' for Yvonne Strahovski. I also watch some shows 'cause of the people who make them and after 'Felicity' and 'Alias' I watched shows like 'Lost and 'Fringe' 'cause they were made by JJ Abrams.

I followed Michael J. Fox to Spin City, which was very good early on. Same here. I also watched that recent show of his for him, but dropped out early on. Was mostly just Parkinson's gags. I was also thinking of watching Snatch for Rupert Grint. |
