Whatever happened to him? He was one of the biggest stars in Hollywood. I remember him being in The Mummy, George Of The Jungle, Dudley Do-Right, Bedazzled, Monkeybone, Journey to the Center of the Earth and Fury Vengeance and he was tearing the roof off and all kinds of shit but then he dropped off the radar. Where oh where have you been my friend. It’s been an awfully long time since we heard from you. Where oh where have you been?

Thanks for sharing that stargazer. It should be interesting to see how Brendan goes on this show 'cause he was one of the biggest names in Hollywood at one point as BexxyJ pointed out above and then completely dropped off the radar and this role could be a big comeback for him if the show is successful and we might see Brendan making a return to the top. If Robert Downey Jr can do it maybe Brendan Fraser can do the same thing.

Downey got lucky with the Iron Man role but you're talking about Brendan Fraser and the dude is too old and is only getting a tv show that is on some streaming platform hardly anyone will watch.

The comeback thing is hard to work with I mean lot of people get comebacks but in different ways, look at Keaton his comeback as a star didn't come about from a monsterous hit, it was big for what it was but it made people take note and he turned that into bigger roles, on the other hand see the ginger twat from CSI Miami which was his big comeback after his ego fucked his career in the shitter, CSI for it's time was a massive hit seen around the world by hundreds of million of people, but he couldn't turn that into anything bigger or anything else at all really.
Doom Patrol could give Fraiser a resurgence as a TV actor which see's him employed regularly for decades, or an opportunity for a new movie role, you just never know or it could go nowhere.
All depends on how you define things, I mean anyone notice just how successful David Boreanaz is in a months time he will have had 22 years on TV as a lead, 22 years the man has been a lead in network TV shows consistently can you believe that shit, were not talking daytime soaps either but primetime and long running roles also, dude went from Buffy to Angel to Bones to Seal Team, for some that insane, others it' like yeah but all he did was that crappy crow movie, all depends on what you define as success.

Yeah. You have a good point and Dazz is right. A lot of actors have tried to make comebacks over the years and failed and some not only failed but sent their careers even further down the toilet and the whole ‘comeback’ thing is definitely not easy even though we have seen people achieve it in various fields like acting, music and sports. Shawn Michaels comeback in the 00s remains one of the greatest comebacks of all time and when he retired in the late 90s a lot of people thought his career was over and we would never see him wrestle again but then he was cleared in 2002 and he spent the decade putting on a lot of great matches with other wrestlers and winning the WWE Championship again in the very first Elimination Chamber match. Few comebacks have been as great as Shawn’s and have had the impact his did on an industry like professional wrestling.
Who was the ginger twat in CSI Miami? We don’t watch the CSI shows but oh wow. Have you seen ‘Medium?’ That was Patricia Arquette’s comeback role and I liked that show.

Who was the ginger twat in CSI Miami? We don’t watch the CSI shows but oh wow. Have you seen ‘Medium?’ That was Patricia Arquette’s comeback role and I liked that show. David Caruso I think his name is, he's the young ginger cop in Rambo First blood and he was one of the stars of the first season of NYPD Blue iirc, but he thought he was destined to be a movie star so quit the show and his career floundered for a decade till he got CSI Miami, even though he stuck it out this time his ego remains as is obvious by how his character is portrayed, a near 50 year old man when the show starts not impressive looking physically at all who strikes fear and intimidates much larger younger men in the prime of their lives and who gorgeous women 20 years his junior repeatedly fall in love with, and who in atleast one episode is shot, left for dead stands around chin wagging for a few minutes to catch his breath and then magically catches up to the guy who shot him who has been running from another cop since he shot old ginger nuts, the other cop in question again a 20-30 year younger man who hasn't just been shot, fucking ridiculous.
As for HBK in all fairness that wasn't much of a surprise to anyone aware of his bullshit nature, he "breaks" his back just as SCSA, Mr McMahon, The Rock even Mankind & Taker start to really come into their own whilst he Michaels was barely the top guy during the dead period of wrestling, but he miraculously heals 4 years later when the brands divide and all but Taker have either quit, retired or cooled off considerably leaving a gaping void in the top guy spots for HBK to slide back into.
Also though he had some great moments during his comeback he had a lot of dogshit also, I still remember him making Orton look like a pussy when Orton beat him on PPV after repeatedly punching HBK in the face with brass knux only to be back up in like 10 seconds, way to make Orton look like a bitch HBK way to fucking go...still him fucking with Hogan at Summerslam that year fucking beautiful I just wish everyone did that to Hogan, sure it was unprofessional and dickish but fuck it it was Hogan he should have shoot superkicked him then pissed in his face as far as im concerned.

Oh. Him. Yeah. I heard about him. Wasn't he also in 'LA Law' or am I confusing him for somebody else? I I remember reading somewhere he quit 'NYPD Blue' 'cause he thought he was going to be a big movie star and his career kinda went down the toilet after that and I actually didn't know he was the same actor in 'CSI Miami' 'cause we don't watch any of the 'CSI' TV shows here but I have heard of them and there were apparently a few of them if I remember correctly like 'Law and Order' and 'NSCIS' had multiple spinoffs. I think Patricia Arquette was in one of them with Ted Danson out of 'Cheers' and 'Becker' after 'Medium' and it was some show about the computer hackers on the internet but I think it got cancelled 'cause I don't hear about it anymore. Patricia Arquette is a good example of an actress who made a big comeback with 'Medium' and she was in quite a few successful movies early in her career but her career went downhill for a while until she got the leading role of Allison Dubois in 'Medium' and that went for 7 seasons and we got all of it on DVD and I liked that show and 'Ghost Whisperer' and both were kinda similar and 'Ghost Whisperer was a comeback for Jennifer Love Hewitt too who wasn't getting as many movie roles as she was in the late 90s and early 00s.
Shawn Michaels did leave at a time when a lot of other wrestlers like the Rock and Steve Austin were coming into their own and I am not sure if he would have stayed one of the top stars or not if he didn't have his back injury but one thing we would have got was the Rock vs Shawn Michaels which is a dream match a lot of fans would have loved to have seen and I was disappointed we never got to see that when Shawn returned 'cause it could have headlined 'Wrestlemania' without even having a title on the line but I heard the Rock did not get along very well with Shawn Michaels and wouldn't have wanted to work with him. I don't know if that is true though 'cause The Rock is close friends with Triple H and has even said he wants his final match to be with Triple H 'cause he was his favourite opponent and Triple H's best friend is Shawn Michaels so it could just be fan speculation. Have you heard about Roman Reigns and Batista coming back? I thought Roman would return but never thought he would be back this soon and his return is going to really change things going forward and I haven't seen Raw yet but I heard there are plans for another Shield match with them facing Baron Corbin, Bobby Lashley and Drew McIntyre and Roman has said he is working on getting Dean Ambrose to stay and he might not leave now.
It is great to see Batista back and I hope we finally get the Animal vs the Beast.

Yeah Arquette & Danson were in CSI Cyber, though Danson was only in the 2nd/last season as he was a main character on the OG CSI for the last few years, no clue about ginger nuts and LA Law though.
I don't know if HHH & Rock are that close, they weren't back in the day atleast, Rock was hyper competitive but in a fun way which is why he and Austin worked so well and got along, HHH however was also competitive but not in a good way, he may have mellowed by now though, also helps he and Rock's paths diverged and they both reached the top of their fields, Rock's now a megastar movie star and HHH is the 2nd most powerful man in wrestling, so they may get along better now, but if Austin could wrestle 1 more match then I wouldn't doubt Rock would want his last match with the rattlesnake over HHH.
Also back in the day you have to recall how big a prick HBK was, I mean even when he found god he could be a dick, so him Vs. Rock may have still been an issue due to egos or Rock just not wanting to deal with HBK and his bullshit, but before HBK hurt his back he was apparently not a fan of Rock's as he wanted Hunter to be the next big star but Rock was clearly the more over and bigger star in the making, but HBK's insistence that Hunter should be pushed more than Rock rubbed Rock the wrong way more than once from what I recall hearing.
I don't know how much a dream match it would have been back then though, in the mid 00's till HBK retired yeah that would have been a great WM match but really how do you set that up and justify it?

Okay. Thanks. Yeah. I heard that show didn’t last for long and I am actually surprised over how long a lot of these types of shows like ‘CSI’, ‘Law and Order’ and ‘NCIS’ have been able to last for along with all of the spinoff shows they have had like ‘NCIS’ is currently up to Season 16, ‘Law and Order’ lasted for 20 seasons and ‘CSI’ lasted for 15 seasons and I always wonder where they are getting the ratings from especially ‘Law and Order’ ‘cause I have known a lot of people over the years and none of them watched ‘Law and Order’ but the show must have pulled in millions of viewers to go as long as it did on a major network like NBC which cancelled heaps of other TV shows including some that had much higher ratings than shows on other networks that kept getting renewed.
I am not exactly sure about the Rock and Triple H either but one thing I have noticed in many of their interviews where they mention one another they speak very fondly of each other and say their feuds were some of the best moments of their careers. The Rock even called Triple H his friend and he said Triple H brought out the best of him in their matches and he challenged him to be even better in the ring and that was why he wanted his last match to be with him. It is hard to tell who is friends in real life ‘cause so many wrestlers feud with each other back and forth and one moment they are friends and are tagging with one another and the next they are bitter rivals and one of the major problems I have always had with heel turns is why when a wrestler turns on another one and becomes a heel they abandon all their friends and start hanging out with all the wrestlers they hated before.
That to me has always been the silliest thing about heel turns in wrestling and I think it was Alicia Fox who made fun of it a few years back when they had her going back and forth from playing a face and a heel on an almost weekly basis tagging with the faces and heels. I have heard John Cena and Randy Orton are close friends which is funny when you look at how many years they have feuded with each other in the storylines and Kane and Big Show are too. I heard Shawn Michaels was a prick during his first run in WWE and he has even admitted to it and said he wasn’t proud of a lot of the things he did in his first run but when he retired he was happier ‘cause he believed he come back a better person and was able to help a lot of the younger wrestlers and if the Rock and Shawn Michaels had ended up having a match before Shawn retired him and Dwane might have gotten along a lot better.
I think the way to have justified it at Wrestlemania would have been by having The Rock say Shawn was the one big name wrestler he never had a match with (at the time) and vice versa and they wanted to find out who the best was and it would have been interesting ‘cause I think the fans would have been very divided with many siding with Shawn too unlike the Rock’s matches with John Cena where most people booed John Cena and sided with the Rock.

Procedurals do well because they are easy to watch, 90% of a season can be viewed out of order with little to no harm, they are usually pretty cheap I think due to not needing a lot for special effects or elaborate sets, also they don't tend to try to be hip so they appeal to older audiences and can be more readily syndicated as with a few exceptions they can be played almost any time of day because they don't try and push the envelope, this is also why despite often having ratings that drawf the so called "hottest" shows on TV they don't get the press and publicity because their audience usually doesn't fall into the key demos as nicely as other less watched shows, as such a hit CW show can have as good or better demo's than a CBS show with a vastly bigger overall rating.
Back to wrestling, yeah I dunno, I just know from interviews I heard back in the day how HHH during the AE was a bit of a prick, iirc both Road Dogg & Billy Gunn talked about how HHH would basically fire them up over how Rock and Austin were only over because of them, that they did the work and Rock & Austin got the benefits for it, but you know that's 20 years ago, they could have become huge friends in the 15 years since Rock stopped being a WWE regular.
As for HBK, meh, I know atleast 2 specific incidents of HBK being a pos during his comeback, he first tried fucking with Hurricane talking shit over Helms using the Chokeslam because that's Kane & Show's finish, which resulted in the office telling Helms no more chokeslams, which is silly because as Helms has said he never wanted to hit the move, he thought he fun was in that he tried to do it being a cruiserweight on the heavyweights and it never worked, but Vince told him to start using it when he teamed with Kane and was told to keep doing it after till HBK bitched about it, and not to Helms but behind his back to people, the 2nd time is when CM Punk had a dark match or debut match maybe both he and HHH flat out were burying Punk backstage non-stop during his match and again when Punk comes back HBK pretended to be his biggest fan, at the end of the day a cunts a cunt is a cunt.
That's not to mention how HBK has on a few occasions fucked people around by his in ring behaviour, I forgive him fucking with Hogan because fuck Hogan but still that's what HBK did because Hulk refused to put him over, HBK also made Orton look like a pussy when Orton punches him in the head like a dozen times with brass knuckles and HBK not only isn't knocked out by it but he's getting up almost as soon as the ref hit the 3 count, and he also fucked with storylines a bit because of his unwillingness to change things up, the reason he never won the WWE or World Title after his 1 month run in 2002 is because he refused to as it meant working a certain day as champ and he refused to because he went to services that day and he wouldn't change that day to fit the WWE's schedule so WWE could never put the belt back on him which meant any time he was in a long standing title feud it was pointless as there was never a chance to give him the belt to drop it to someone, but it didn't stop him taking all those main event feuds and paydays from other wrestlers where the naturally pay off of a new champ could have helped make new stars.
Love him as a performer he was amazing but HBK as a man always seemed like a POS to me, the fact he hid behind his faith just makes him more so imo, so fuck that guy, glad Rock never gave him the rub.

Yeah. I suppose. You make a good point about the easy to watch part with procedurals but I never really got into those shows and found most of them to be kinda boring (sorry ) and I think the older audience would play a big part in them 'cause older people tend to like a lot of shows like that and I like some of the old Detective, Police/ Private Investigator type of shows like 'Columbo', 'The Rockford Files', 'Mannix', 'Quincy, M.E.', 'Kojak', 'Simon & Simon', 'Charlie's Angels', 'Jake and the Fatman', 'Riptide', 'Hawaii Five O', 'Cagney & Lacey', 'Starsky and Hutch', 'Magnum PI' etc and I love 'Murder She Wrote', 'Mattlock' and 'Diagnosis: Murder' and watch them on Foxtel and have them on DVD but I am not really a big fan of a lot of the newer ones and I have heard mainly bad things about the remake of 'Magnum.' I heard you are one of the big reasons why 'Home and Away' and 'Neighbours' keep getting renewed every year 'cause the ratings for both shows have collapsed multiple times here to the point where the networks have considered cancelling them but they seem to be getting a lot of ratings over in the UK so Channel 7 and 10 keep renewing them here.
I think all TV Shows seem to have a better chance of lasting longer on the CW Network 'cause they are not as picky with their ratings as other channels are and there have been shows on the CW Network that have dropped in ratings for one or two seasons and then gone back up again the following the season and if 'Gotham' had been on the CW Network instead of Fox it might have lasted more seasons but if 'Smallville' had been on Fox it probably would have lasted less. I was annoyed over 'Revenge' getting cancelled 'cause it had good ratings when it got cancelled and had double what a lot of other shows had as some sites pointed out but I think they made a mistake with what they did in the final season having Emily's Father turn out to be alive 'cause it kinda undone all the things she had done in the previous seasons and did you watch 'Revenge' dazz? I haven't seen Emily's new TV Show yet but I think it might have been cancelled as I heard she is going to be a season regular in the 'Falcon & Winter Soldier' TV Show. A few years ago they had some Marvel specials on Channel 7 and Emily hosted them and she talked all about the latest season of 'Marvel's Agents of SHIELD' at the time.
With Triple H I believe he might have changed over the years 'cause I have heard many of the younger wrestlers say good things about him and how he really takes the time to get to know them and makes an effort in helping them when they are starting out and Shawn Michaels and Steve Austin have both said in interviews they did a lot of things they regretted when they were younger but they were no longer the same people anymore and Steve Austin said he was an egomaniac and should have let other wrestlers go over him and Brock Lesnar was supposed to have a match with Steve Austin and beat him but Steve Austin said his ego was too big at the time he wouldn't let Brock beat him and if he could have done it again he would have had the match and let Brock win 'cause a victory over him helped younger wrestlers and the company move forward for the future. Right now it looks like they are having trouble with developing new stars and aside from the Shield members the only new wrestlers that have gotten over are former TNA stars who are around the same age and older than John Cena and Randy Orton like AJ Styles and Samoa Joe and I think they wrecked Shinzke like they wrecked Ryback when they turned him heel and both were really popular until they turned them heel and went down to the bottom of the roster.
What do you think of the upcoming 'WWE Super Showdown' event with Undertaker vs Goldberg and Triple H vs Randy Orton? I am kinda annoyed they are having Seth Rollins vs Brock Lesnar again and was hoping we would get to see Brock face somebody different such as Bobby Lashley or Drew McIntyre but I doubt Brock will win. The matches for 'Extreme Rules' are out and Seth is defending the Universal title against Baron Corbin and I think Baron Corbin and possibly Drew McIntyre and Bobby Lashley will interfere and cause the match to end in DQ just 'cause they will see beating Seth for the title is easier than beating Brock Lesnar.

Taker Vs. Goldberg is an interesting match, doubt it will be good though, also kind of worried for Taker, Bill's not known for his light touch so lets just hope he doesn't do to Taker what he did to Bret.
Brock Vs. Rollins makes sense, it's a WM rematch, which the Saudi's could have demanded, hell most of the big matches could literally be wishlist matches from the government, so I don't really care or blame WWE for it, also with Brock he's so temperamental if you have an opponent he can work with well why not stick to it? though Brock Vs. Braun again could be funny to see Brock get pissed off and just slap that idiot stupid...well stupider.
I hate the idea of all the heels trying to stop Brock becoming champ again, too much like the Outsiders keeping all of WCW at bay with a pair of baseball bats, seems cool at first but the actual sense to it is if people buy it the people believe these 2 guys with a couple of bats is tougher than the entire roster combined, or with Brock he's so big and scary every other wrestler on the roster fears him so much they actively try stopping him becoming champion, and he's also never around so the entire roster is basically a bunch of pussies.
Dunno if Brock is a heel again or not but if he is a way to do the same thing but not demean the roster is have them reject him, like his attitude makes him persona non grata amongst the boys, so they fuck him over as an FU and then have someone explain "Brock thinks he's so tough coming in once every 2-3 months cheap shotting people before he fights them then he goes home, that's easy we could all do that, but what we do is we compete every night, we wear our bodies down day after day and we keep fighting, unlike Brock who goes home and sits on his arse for months at a time so screw him", that way no one looks like cowards, and makes Brock the heel among heels as NO ONE wants him around and allows for a lot of fueds for Brock in the months to come away from the title because he could be like ok fuck this I am going to beat everyone of their arses.
As for the guys back in the day, yeah no doubt I think everyone from then has talked about the competitive nature back then, which is why I don't blame guys like Rock, Austin, HHH even or HBK for their behaviour during the AE, it's the likes of HHH and HBK when they fucked over guys or acted like pathetic dicks when they weren't competing for those spots, or were just hurting guys beneath them for no reason, like HHH having to beat Hurricane a number of times right after Rock put Hurricane over, instead of allowing Helms to get over huge because holy shit he beat The Rock instead HHH had to try and sap the buzz out of him, and HHH isn't alone in this, it's why I hated Cena for most of his run as he did the same, any hot new act would get paired with Cena so he could leech off of their popularity and they would lose the falls in his programs to keep Cena strong all the while they become colder and colder acts until they didn't benefit Cena anymore and then they went away, happened every year and it ruined so many guys chances to be bigger stars.
Then when you have HBK doing sneaky shit like he did whilst claiming to be a man of god well that's just pure FU behaviour imo.

Did you see the Goldberg vs the Undertaker match? It sadly didn’t turn out to be as exciting as many fans were hoping it would and Goldberg was said to be in a very bad condition after the match and it looks like that might be the last time we ever get to see Goldberg in a wrestling match ‘cause reports are saying it was supposed to go longer and Goldberg made a number of mistakes that messed it up and he has even spoken out and apologised to fans. I think it was good we got to see the Undertaker and Goldberg together ‘cause that was something people had been wanting to see for years and it is just a shame they didn’t have the match back when Goldberg was in WWE the first time ‘cause if the two of them had it back then I think it would have turned out better than the match we got.
I think the Undertaker will be back for one last match at Wrestlemania against Sting and it will be his retirement match and he will get inducted into the Hall of Fame and next year is his 30th anniversary in WWE so it seems like a good time for him to retire. I am still disappointed we didn’t get to have an Undertaker and Kane vs The Outsiders match but they had the Undertaker playing a heel when NWO came into the WWE or a DX vs NWO match but when Shawn Michaels returned to WWE NWO were just about over and I think they had more plans for them since they had Shawn join them and wear a NWO shirt but they were pretty quickly disbanded and that was probably ‘cause too many fans were cheering for Shawn Michaels and NWO were supposed to be a heel stable at the time.
I am glad Seth Rollins kept the title and didn’t lose it to Brock Lesnar ‘cause I just don’t see the point in giving the WWE Universal Championship to somebody who isn’t there to appear on the shows and defend it every month especially when they had the Smackdown title being defended and in a way it tainted Brock’s run having the champion on Smackdown defending every month against challengers but Brock couldn’t bother being there to defend the Raw title. I have a bad feeling Baron Corbin will eventually become the champion though and Seth Rollins might even lose at ‘Stomping Grounds’ to him ‘cause WWE appear to be pushing him and they have Drew with Shane McMahon feuding with Roman at the moment so they will probably keep him out of the title scene while Baron is champion but they could later turn around and have Drew turn face and go against Baron Corbin for the title.
Yeah. Brock didn’t make the other wrestlers look good not appearing and they do make out Brock is so much better than everybody else and feared but I think if they pushed Bobby Lashley like TNA did and turned him face again he could be a big threat to Brock in a match and possibly even go one on one with him and beat him fair and square and I think they were building to a match like that but his face run didn’t work out the way they planned so they turned him heel. I kinda blame WWE for that though even though Bobby isn’t great on the microphone ‘cause when he was champion in TNA as a face and went against MVP and Kenny King it felt like he worked better as a face and WWE have not done favours for some wrestlers with the storylines they give them and Bobby Roode is wasted and I wish they would drop the ‘Glorious’ gimmick and moustache and make him like he was in TNA.
If they made him like that and pushed him and put him in matches with Seth Rollins, AJ Styles, Drew McIntyre, Samoa Joe, Baron Corbin, Kofi Kingston etc I think he would get over but what WWE have done with him now is just putting him further down. I think bringing in James Storm and making the two of them ‘Beer Money’ in the WWE is the one best way to help put Bobby Roode over and I recall you saying you were a fan of James and I would like to see him and I would have liked to have seen a few female wrestlers from TNA join WWE like Velvet Sky, Madison Rayne, Angelina Love, Brooke, ODB, Awesome Kong (a proper long run) and had Gail and Taryn come back and I heard why ODB wasn’t allowed but I feel the WWE Women’s Division could have greatly benefited from it. There are so many female wrestlers out at the moment like Mickie James, Tamina, Nia Jax, Alicia Fox and the Riot Squad and I don’t think they are going to have enough for a pay per view again. They really need to keep Charlotte and Becky Lynch apart though 'cause it is so repetitive putting them against each other this many times and I would be happy to see the two of them not share the same ring for a year.
