Yeah. I was like 8 when that happened but I remember everyone going crazy over it. Personally I think the parents had something to do with it.one was going ape shit over it. They had their daughter in extremely whore like outfits which was sick enough.

Who knows? All the case and media circus proved was what a tragedy the death of one white child from an affluent family was, never mind all the other children, white and poor or black or brown, who are murdered each year. It was a boon, however, for oxymoron collectors because of the media use of the phrase "eight year old beauty queen."

Apparently their neighborhood and surrounding area was actually active with pedophiles and other predators. Perhaps someone got wind she was living there and took their chance when no one was looking.

The brother is a strong possibility I think. In any case I don't think the parents did it, but I do think they knew much more than they let on, and because of that it makes them look somewhat complicit, and casts some possibility on the brother theory. We'll never really know. |
