Trying to get a good cross section of genres and time frames.
I KNOW! For whatever reason, IMDB purposely duplicated the TWILIGHT FOR THE GODS selection, so just ignore the second one. As so often, this is their mistake. The selection that I wrote in was the death of the dogs in Nankyoku Monogatari. Again, the "smart computer people" screwed it up.

"Boxer saving gagnster in pawn shop in PULP FICTION"
I enjoy Pulp Fiction and everything, but I wouldn't go so far as to call this one of the most emotionally touching film scenes ever. lol.

Boromir salvaging his honor and saving the hobbits in The Lord of the Rings
Charlie returning secret to Gene Wilder in Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory
ET going home in E.T.
Execution scene in Red Dawn (1984)
The vote in The Ox-Bow Incident
Crop duster scene in North by Northwest (I wouldn't say it's "emotional" but it was exciting)

Man, give me the scene in It's a Wonderful Life when George is at the end of his tether and wants to live again, any day over most of these choices!
