This one looks cool. I love The Brave One - 08' with Jodie Foster and have viewed several times. I have always liked awesome and violent revenge vigilante style justice film. The moral grounding gets lost and can provoke all sorts of notions and feelings about right and wrong.

I might go see this in theater. When/if it comes to the cheapo ($5.50 all seats, all day, every day) multiplex about 20 minutes away from me.
This would be a good double feature paired up with Proud Mary.

Oh that blows, we got a discount Tuesday where it's $6.00. It's better than the prices of $19.00 per seat at the bigger chains and $25.00 for the premium seats and this isn't even the recliner class. They are way more. I shouldn't complain though, because I am an industry member and get freebies as long as they are not on the NFT list, which is usually reserved for new releases in the first couple of weeks. I just wait and then take a mate with me. |

It's fine. Thought there would be more action, but a 3rd act twist isn't terrible (though it does lose a significant amount of realism with how they have the lead character go about an event in the last act). Kind of resembles a poor man's Man on Fire in some directorial choices.
Probably more of a matinee watch (which is $5 for me) than a full price feature.

The nearest dollar theater from where I live is in a place I haven't been to before. BTW, Proud Mary isn't awful, but it's not great, either. |
