Buy back the family farm ( which is one of the biggest in south west Norway) and use it as a place to spend the summer. Of course i would not use it as a farm as i would get rid of all the animals. It would just be used as a place to spend the summer months.
And buy a bigger apartment.
Travel
Give some of it to charity like Doctors Without Borders

The very first thing I'd do is contact an attorney and arrange to have my name legally changed; the second would be to move to a different location with an advanced security system. This is due to the fact that I have a couple of distant (but not distant enough) relatives who would have very few qualms about doing away with me, or anyone else in my family who had a large amount of money, in order to get their hands on it. I wish I were joking.

There is no such thing as a sum of money too large for me to know what to do with it. I can never run out of ideas for spending money on things I've always wanted to try, places I want to go. There's no such thing as "extra money" for someone with a bucket list that's extravagant and expensive as hell

I'd pay for my niece to go to whatever college she wishes to. My nephew has an Associates degree. If he wanted to go for a 4 year one I'd pay for that. Pay off my mother's home and my sisters'. Buy myself one. But a new car. Travel some (Alaska, Japan, Hawaii, Australia). Support charities for dementia treatment, addiction recovery, and education/job training for disadvantaged youth.

Keep enough to set myself up to live comfortably for the rest of my life, and then give the rest away to people who need it the most so they can do the same.
EDIT: I forgot, I'd also like to make the TV shows and movies I have ideas for.

Well I would always make sure I had enough for the rest of my life first and foremost and after a while, as you can only buy so much stuff before it becomes a bit overkill, I would likely start donating a decent amount of it as the years pass but I would not just donate to any random charity as it seems many charities are so-so to where if I donate I want a very high percentage of what I donate to go to the actual cause. like if you donate say $100 dollars I want damn near all of that going to the actual cause and not like $50 or so tops otherwise I am not going to donate to that place.
hell, come to think of it... if I had money to burn, as in say something like $20-30mil or so, I would likely finance a movie I would like to see get made that would not otherwise. like one that comes to mind... the Hitman character from the video games but make it more like The American (2010) (9/10 ; within my Top 26 movies. it's underrated) as that suits the hitman character more than what we actually got which is basic action movies where as The American is more about atmosphere/mood/character. I do mildly like Hitman (2007) (6/10) but the Hitman: Agent 47 (2015) (5/10 ; Thumbs Down) is too generic. but both have a basic issue is that you can see they are just basic action movies made to make a quick buck instead of aiming for real quality. basically what I am saying is a $ risk, but I would be surprised if it did not turn out better than what we ended up getting so far even though I doubt it would be a big hit as The American (2010) only made $67.9mil on a $20mil budget, which sounds solid enough, but... it's got George Clooney as without him tied to that movie it likely would have made much less and while I don't know exactly who would be cast in the lead role it's possible I would consider someone lesser known and even if I did go with someone with a bit of a name I would likely avoid having any huge stars tied to the lead role. but Tim Olyphant playing the lead, like he did in he 2007 movie was not a bad choice but I think the movie itself could have been noticeably better with the right director that's not focused on action but more around the character/atmosphere of the movie.

Dont tell anyone and keep pretending to have the same amount of money you had before. Probably move to another city too.-Possibly move to another country, at the very least buy a house in another country -buy a start-up company whose idea i can get behind, buy a few houses and rent them out (some long-term, others airbnb) -give space x unlimited funding (agreement with Musk), as well as adding a terraforming & teleportation department. hire the best lawyer from a top-tier firm, buy some politicians, CEOs and ex/current intelligence operatives. All this to get me off Earth in a rocket with the stuff that I want and need to create a new micro-world for myself on Mars. Other rockets coming with me would be for trees, plants, livestock, labour-hire (these guys (well compensated) will be returned home once theyve helped me set-up everything) etc whatever else I needed to create that world for myself. Around my house would be a small forest, a farm and an artificial beach. -buy an island, buy a small castle. sell once i get sick off them -buy the playboy company -create a highly secure company with several departments (climate change, anti AI & nanotech, aliens & meteorites, nuclear bombs, deforestation or any other threats to the planet) to manage and combat these problems. Thats the 'threat' division. The 'heal' division will have these departments (poverty, human culture, real communication with animals as in doctor dolittle). The third and final division will consist of (military, science & tech, ESP & hypnosis, paranormal (unexplained events), Indiana Jones-to do with following up on Atlantis, illuminati, legends and myths) -create a private military company to protect myself, my interests and more importantly the company above -buy a porsche convertible, yacht, private jet, weapons and helicopter -create another company for better leadership world-wide (starting off with the current politicians in power, to get one on side. If none are desirable, create an excellent candidate (that will be in line with the idea of a selfless politician truly looking after the public good) to go into one of the major parties or create a party. Extensive interviews, head-hunting, thorough background and security checks. I would start with my home country and move across the globe. A section of this company would be to create a legacy/heirs -create a university for geniuses (purpose is to really fast-forward the world) -buy informants everywhere I feel it's important (police, intelligence agencies, govt, companies, other countries, united nations etc) -buy a lot of crystal purely to stack up and crush them with my bow and arrow -create a new sport -hire sacha baron cohen for pranks -buy Julian Assange's freedom -buy controlling interest in Disney ANNNNND THATS ALL FOLKS!

Google "Lottery Curse" and you'll see what happens to a lot of people who come into a large amount of money. Getting murdered by family members and acquaintances not long after winning some cash (in some cases, as little as a couple of thousand dollars) is a not uncommon consequence. What's even more frightening is to consider that some of these victims may have put the money away in a safe place, such as a bank, but then been tortured by their murderers for their bank information. That's why some states have considered laws that delay the release of lottery winners' names, so that they can plan some kind of anonymity. Be careful what you wish for.
