I would say that both of them have worked very hard for the physical aspects of the roles (Brie looked pretty good doing real pull-ups and real pushups). But I don't think either of them are very good choices, physically, for their roles. However, Hollywood is mostly obsessed with female ectomorphs and almost always cast them even if the role calls for a mesomorph. To be fair, Brie doesn't look like an ectomorph, at least in my opinion.

Gal Gadot.
Don't get me wrong, I like me some Brie, but you could post a video of Gal taking a shit and that would still be hotter.

I wasn't going to break "character" at first, but I for saw this possibly escalating so I figured I'd stop with the kayfeb. We should have a whole week where everyone changes their names and avatars, pretend they're someone else, and we try to guess who's who. Months and months ago I proposed something similar—everyone should change name and avatar and pretend to be someone else—but then @forceghostackbar pointed out to me that the username always stays the same even if the display name changes. Your idea solves this little problem by asking us to guess who we’re pretending to be instead, so—I second it!

Brie will actually have some weight on her, Gal just a slightly muscular skinny model.

My thoughts based on watching their vids:
Gal Gadot moves better. She has a natural grace and athleticism that translates well to fight scenes, makes her look like she actually knows how to kick ass.
Brie Larson doesn't have that kind of grace but she does seem (quite a bit) stronger. The fact that she can do weighted pushups and full pullups is something that few women can claim.

Gal.Brie is a great actress but the mcu formula will fail her. captain marvel is a comedy movie so that means none of the emotions and depth we saw from Gal will be seen with Brie. Except the "MCU formula" has never failed any actor in the MCU. Edward Norton Mickey Rourke Natalie Portman All victims of the MCU formula.

Comparing who looks to be in better shape is not sexist. We do it all the time with athletes and bodybuilders, heck there's a bunch of threads here comparing the physiques of Thor, Cap, Superman, etc. Or are you saying it's only sexist if we're taking about women's physiques? We shouldn't compare anyone body, regardl. It's a problematic! Like I said I prefer if we praise both Gal Gadot and Brie Larson for being amazing women who are inspirational too young girls and women everywhere. The campaign to ignore major aspects of what it is to be human--physical appearance, sexuality, etc., is ridiculous. You can't acknowledge the totality of anyone if you're not allowed to address those aspects.
