It was almost a tie for me because I like both Dean Koontz (love the Odd Thomas books) and Stephen KIng. I chose King because I really love his books and short stories like Delores Claiborne, Shawshank Redemption, The Green Mile, The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon, The Body and Misery.
