Last night's show was so good. For once, I actually said "Go Erin!" Jamie's situation was sad, but at least it had as peaceful of an ending as it could have. I would love to know how Danny holds it together when a person says to him, "You have no idea what it's like to lose someone." When it was said to him last night, he should've said, "I've lost my mother, one of my brothers, and my wife. Do you want to know who I had to let go of first?" God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. I hope that Jack received a phone call from his dad at some point about how things are going now. Danny has already gotten Sean's blessing.

I’m hopelessly behind on watching the show this year, but I had to make a comment on the episode “Heroes” that I just recently watched:
Toward the end of the story, Danny goes out of his way to comment that Adam Reynolds would likely face 3 to 5 years in prison even though he has an otherwise clean record. My question: Why? As I understand it, he hired a couple of thugs to do a fake robbery on his girl friend – pretend they were going to steal her purse so that he could rush in and chase them away and be a hero to her. Instead, the thugs ignored the instructions that he gave them (and paid them for) and tried to actually steal her purse. When she held on, one of them started to beat the crap out of her. Adam rushed in to protect her, and the other one beat the crap out of him. So, his girl friend found out and will never speak to him again, plus he got the crap beat out of him as well. And these morons want to throw him in prison too? He didn’t ask or order them to beat up the woman. They have a text trail to follow, and I’m sure they’ll find that he instructed them (probably more than once) not to hurt her. Yes, the beating would never have happened if he hadn’t come up with this crazy idea to do a fake robbery to allow him to be the hero. But he had a reasonable belief that this was not going to turn into a real robbery and double beating. And there was clearly no intention from him to cause any harm to anyone! They could charge him with reckless endangerment, where intent doesn’t matter and there are severe penalties in some areas, and maybe you can add on lying to the police (more by omission). But is any justice served by trying to send this guy to jail after he’s already suffered a beating and a broken heart? Do they seriously think he’d ever even entertain the idea of doing something like this again? Is it a way to encourage other people not to try what he tried? I would think the results would already accomplish that. To even try to send him to prison seems insane and stupid. He should get a good lawyer, and not take a plea deal (unless it’s just probation or less). I doubt any jury would convict him if they know it would mean jail time. He just a guy made a stupid mistake. Yes, his girl friend got beat up, but he did too! Just send the thugs who beat her up to prison – not him.
It reminded me of the episode earlier in the season where they only found out about an assault because maids found blood on a mattress. Turned out a man’s daughter had attacked him with a knife for him cheating on her mother. If I recall correctly, when Danny finds out the truth at the end he blatantly tells her father she’s going to jail. Wait a minute! The father was the one who was assaulted, and he never reported it or pressed charges, so on whose behalf are they even filing this case? Clearly his daughter needs psychological help, not prison, and I sure her father would agree to that. Is the city really going to waste its resources sending someone to prison for a crime that went deliberately unreported? I would hope they have more important cases to try instead.
I love this show, but these two incidents really bugged me.

Tonight's show was good although at the end I wish that Danny had been able to deck the halls of the guy that he arrested every time he quoted the Bible. That monster was nothing but a complete and total whack job! I felt for Joe Jr. especially at the end of the show. I will always blame his skank of a mother for all of the time that he never got to have with his dad before the murder that took him from all of the Regan family.
God bless you always!!!

Holly I liked the latest episode, "Past History", better than the previous one, "The Big Leagues". But it seemed like there were too many plot lines going on. The serial killer story in particular seemed rushed and unresolved. It wasn't made clear if he was truly insane or faking, or if he would go to prison or a mental institution. Maybe they'll bring more closure to this story in a future episode.

^^^ They could do that. The last time that Danny dealt with a serial killer, Danny finally got him at the end of the guy's third episode.
God bless you always!!!

Last night's show was good although Anthony really had me going during one scene that happened around the middle of the episode. All that I wanted to do was put my arms around him. Eddie should've said, "Bite me!" after what was said to her about Officer Rachel at the beginning of the show. I want to know how much farther Jamie would've gone if Chief Nichols had not walked in and saw what was happening. The girl that Danny and Detective Baez had on their plate was lucky that her parents were not only still alive but wanted to meet her. Not every orphan can tell such a story.
God bless you always!!!

What I loved about tonight's show is the guy who gave us the character that Danny was dealing with. I remember him from the A&E show named The Glades which is another one of my most favorite cop shows. God bless you and him always!!! Holly P.S. I wanted to put my arms around Frank at the end of the episode. You know that he has got to be wetting his pants.

Last night's episode couldn't have been better. The dinner scene was hysterical. My only question is, if them other cops knew the reason for Officer Karlie's extra-curricular activity, what would they have to say about her then?
God bless you always!!!

Holly Regarding this episode, "The Naked Truth", the thing that stood out to me was the restaurant owner saying that Jamie and Eddie helped keep them in business with takeout orders during the pandemic. And yet, I wrote way back in December of 2020: I watched the first two episodes of the new season. I like that cousin Joe is getting involved in the plot. I find it a bit weird that the pandemic doesn't seem to exist in the "Blue Bloods" universe. I know that in real life, COVID-19 forced them to shut down production of Season 10 after only 19 episodes (instead of the usual 22), and according to Deadline, Season 11 will only have 16 episodes due to COVID-19. So I guess, the pandemic did exist in the "Blue Bloods" universe, we just never got to see it.

Holly Well, it wasn't that unusual for visitors to wear masks in a hospital setting before the pandemic. If Danny had been shown wearing one in a grocery store that would have been different!

The ending of last night's show couldn't have been better! Frank's final scene was awesome and how Erin dealt with her matter only went to show the good that she does possess even though you only want to ware her out most of the time. If she scores that DA position, it will be due to her taking the right kind of ownership of her actions good and bad both.
God bless you always!!!

The ending of last night's show couldn't have been better! Frank's final scene was awesome... Personally, I thought the ending where Frank billed the Mayor for the cops at his event strained credulity. Frank works for the mayor, and his actions could be interpreted as insubordination. I should repeat to myself, "It's just a show, I should really just relax."

^^^ I don't see anything wrong with what Frank did. Being the Mayor does not give Mayor Chase the clearance to do whatever he wants.

Last night's show was awesome, but I do have to say that in my opinion, Eddie was too laid back at first during the beginning of the show when she told the other cop to shrug off the fact that a bottle had just been thrown at them and then when that girl first pushed her, Eddie didn't do anything until the girl continued on with the attack. In this day and age when people decide to go forward with whatever their choice of action is, they don't deserve the opportunity to strike again. In other words, that girl should've been arrested sooner. Also, when Erin told Anthony not to take cases personally, he should've asked her, "Is that what you want said to you the next time that a case rubs you the wrong way bad enough?"
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. The guy that Jamie slapped his cuffs on at the end of the show, I hope that he gets eaten alive in his new home.

Tonight's show was good. To me, Eddie should've said to her partner, "The reason why you haven't found your Mrs. Right yet is because you haven't taken such a hunt seriously enough yet!"
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. After Detective Baez kicked that man from behind near the end of the episode, she should've kicked him where it truly counted after he started smiling at her.

There were so many plot lines going on, I wondered if any of them would get carried over into the next episode ("Irish Exits"), but they managed to resolve them all over the course of this one episode. I loved that Henry was the one that took the photos proving "that girl" was faking her neck injury, and then was like, "No thanks are necessary".
