Well I am not much of a fan of Danny Reagan's as really the guy can rub people the wrong way. And at times, he can be such a sexist. To his partner. And really think he does not treat her like a partner.

The season eight opener of this show last Friday night made me sick! If what happened just had to happen, why couldn't it have happened later on this season instead of not even a month after Danny's house is set on fire?
God bless you always!!!

The season eight opener of this show last Friday night made me sick! If what happened just had to happen, why couldn't it have happened later on this season instead of not even a month after Danny's house is set on fire? God bless you always!!! Holly Two scenarios: She dies in the house fire, Danny spends all season going after the cartel, or this season actually has Danny being more human trying to raise his sons. People were always complaining about his character being so pissed off all the time. Now they have a different direction for his character.

^^^ She didn't go in the fire. She went less than a month later in a medical helicopter crash.
God bless you always!!!

^^^ She didn't go in the fire. She went less than a month later in a medical helicopter crash. God bless you always!!! Holly Yes, but they were letting the actress go. So instead of having her die in the fire, & have Danny go manic & kill people in the cartel. They had her die doing her job, so Danny doesn't blame anyone. Although he initially blames himself. They can now write his character to do something different than he has been all these seasons.

I felt so bad for Danny during last night's episode of this show. Obviously his cooking will never be the way that Linda's delivery in the kitchen was.
God bless you always!!!

Last night's show was good although I wish that Frank had not said what he had to say about where Nikki was seated during the family dinner. The last person to be in that chair ended up dead.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. Speaking of dead, too bad it wasn't a federal judge that got pushed off that roof. Death row would've then been the culprit's future residence.

I wanted to smack the crack out of that man sitting in the barber chair during last night's episode of this show when he gave his "answer" after Danny wanted to know where he was on the 10th of this month!!!
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but during the final scene of the show, was Jamie trying to suggest that losing Linda has clouded Danny's judgement where his job is concerned?

Tonight's episode was so good although I wanted to smack the crack out of that man who busted Jamie's chops for letting that girl see her parents. I am so sick of seeing him get the book thrown at him for doing the right thing!
God bless you always!!!

Last night's episode of this show was really good although I would like to know if that one girl was going to be arrested for lying to Erin and the rest of the court. Her dishonesty cost an innocent man almost ten years that he can't get back. I understood why Sean had such a question to ask Danny at the beginning of the show. With Danny being a cop, he is the one that Sean was more prepared to lose compared to Linda.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. I LOVE the painting of Frank that we see at the end of the show. Because of his history with the painter, will we be seeing her again?

Last night's show was awesome! After saying that he had a history so that the woman wouldn't panic, Jamie had himself a successful first time experience and what Danny did to save that lady reminded me of what Frank does in the 1st season to save Erin. God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. To me, for Jack and Sean's sake, Danny should wait at least one year before re-entering the dating scene.

Last night's show was good. Danny helping that teacher at the end of the show just went to show the good hearted person that he truly is.
God bless you always!!!
Holly
P.S. I cried when he went to be with Detective Baez in the hospital...as if the guy had not been through enough this year already.

Tonight's show was so good! I loved watching Danny drive that car at the end and of course for me, there is absolutely no getting enough of Jamie, I love him so much too! God bless you always!!! Holly P.S. I am glad that Detective Baker is not going anywhere after all. If she had been written out, I would've been like, "Do the powers that be not like blond characters on this show anymore?" since Linda was a blonde too.

Last night's show was so sad. That man who was cleared at the end had no one to go home to. By the way, the man playing that character is the man who played Gordon all them years on the Sesame Street children's show.
God bless you and him always!!!

Last night's show was good although I wanted to smack that man who suspended Jamie and Eddie. I didn't see anything wrong with what they did. Because of how they handled the situation, no one was shot/killed.
God bless you always!!!

^^^ Detective Baez is good I love Sid, Erin's current partner named Anthony, and I love the back and forth that has taken place between Garret and Frank. P.S. Have we finally seen the last of Reverend Potter? Normally I can't stand the guy, but I will admit that I felt for him when he was last shown during the current season just a few months ago. When his wife fell apart after getting the bad news, I cried and was like, "Danny, find who did it!" I agree with you on these^ three points. I bought Season 7 of Blue Bloods on DVD for someone as a Christmas present and we've been watching it together. I really like Baez. I think she's Danny's best partner since Jackie. I didn't mind the other female partners he had, but they didn't really stick around long enough. She and Danny have had some good back and forth banter so far this season. The most recent instance I can remember ended with Danny quoting Bond (only changing 'James Bond' to 'Daniel Reagan' - though it was a bit weird to hear Danny refer to himself as Daniel). I think one of the best things this show has done is giving Sid something to actually *do* in the show, whereas prior to his change in job, he didn't really get to do much except interact with Danny, if I recall correctly. He's so much better off interacting with Frank, Garrett & Baker. Speaking of Baker, I loved one of the early episodes this season showed her actually smiling/laughing (not sure we've gotten to see that previously) - as were Sid and Garrett - at a caricature of Frank...though then all three looked like kids getting caught doing something 'bad' by their father when Frank walked in. I kind of felt sorry for Baker when he included her as he asked them into his office. On the bright side, in one of the most recent episodes I watched she had some really good one-on-one scenes with Frank about his birthday. And I can't recall if this was the first episode where they came right out and said/showed that Baker was pregnant (I think up until now they were maybe hiding it? I'm not sure if they'd mentioned it previously or not). I was so happy to be seeing her get more screentime/dialogue in some of the episodes...though it's still not enough for me. I want to see an episode devoted to Baker (in my mind, whenever we don't see her, she's off being a hero and saving people/stopping criminals, etc. When we *do* see her, she's assumed her 'secret identity'. Yes, that's what I'm going with until the show gives her an actual proper storyline). Garrett's Sid impression in a recent episode I watched was highly amusing (and dead-on too). I felt the same way about the Reverend. Usually, he irritates me, but the episode did a good job of 'fleshing him out' some, showing us his family, and then dealing with the tragedy he and his wife suffered. I thought it was pretty realistic that he didn't suddenly 'soften' when Danny and Frank were trying to help. He remained his usual self (I thought Danny saying that he respected him for not suddenly changing rang true), but by the end of the episode he did show that he was capable of acting reasonable for a change and was decent to both Frank and Danny. Not relating to any of the above^ points, but Jamie and Eddie made their feelings known to each other in a recent episode I watched. It'll be interesting to see where they go with things. I saw in another one of your posts that Eddie/Vanessa Ray seemingly disappears from some episodes towards the end of the season - I'm not sure if that coincides with when she would've been doing filming for the final season of the TV series Pretty Little Liars or not. She played a rather crucial part in a big reveal during the previous season of that show. Since I watched her in both shows, it was kind of amusing seeing her play two very different roles around the same time. But I digress. I really like some of the interactions we've gotten between characters that we don't typically get. There's been some between Jamie and Erin, Erin and Danny (when they're *not* arguing for a change), and other different dynamics, which is appreciated. I especially liked Eddie greeting Erin with a chirpy "Hello!" in a recent episode. I'm not sure if they've really interacted at all previously. I'm just over halfway through Season 7 of Blue Bloods at the moment. Shall post thoughts on more episodes as I watch them. Thank you for keeping this thread alive (since I'm so behind, my thoughts are for a season you've already seen some time ago).

My most favorite thing about last night's show was when Nikki said to Frank, "Don't you think that you are taking this flag defacing a little bit too personally?" and Frank was like, "That flag was once draped over your uncle's casket...no."
God bless you always!!!
