I try more and more to see the good in people, instead of the negativity that pervades us. There's a lot of good out there that we either take for granted or choose to ignore.

Love this topic.
I have recently learned about the “billion people happy” project. It presents a very interesting take on the future of the relationship of humans vs AI and why we should be more concerned about the negativity we project (especially online) and why its so important that everyone takes all the steps they can to make themselves happy. I think its a great project.
So I try to focus on doing mostly things that will contribute to my happiness (or rather well being).
Today I went out and was planning to sit at the cinema watch Crazy Rich Asians and eat onion rings. Upon reflecting on if this is the right choice I opted out and went to the gym instead and bought pure coconut water. While temporarily I felt like it was a tough choice to make I do feel better now knowing I made the right choice contributig to my well being.
So my something nice is: its your choice too. Isnt that nice? And comforting. To know you are mostly the master of your well being?

I will never forget this. My brother, his wife, their two kids, me and my girlfriend went to Ceder Point State Park. His daughter was about one year old. We were in the middle of the park and a storm came up out of no where. We all started running for the car and I had the baby in my arms. As much as I tried to keep her dry I could not. A perfect stranger handed me a homemade afghan blanket to put over the baby. That person knew we would never see each other again but still give up that great blanket. To this day I wish I could thank whoever that person was. |
