It's a perfect night for mystery and horror. The air itself is filled with monsters.

I like the show but I hate what they did with her and Jimmy. They spent a whole year getting them together and then they have her dump him as soon as they decide to date. I can't stand her and Mon-El. I think out of all the Arrowverse shows this is my third fave right after Flash and Legends but before Arrow. I agree, I think they are doing the Jimmy character wrong. I think they should bring back Lucy Lane. I liked her with Jimmy. I was a big Buffy fan and Mon-El reminds me Riley. It just feels wrong to me. I am actually a huge fan of Jimmy and Kara. I felt like they really had a connection. Jimmy wasn't even in this week's episode at all. I mean Winn was hanging out with Mon-El and not Jimmy who is kinda his new bestie. I hope they start giving Jimmy more to do again soon.

I like it. I agree about Jimmy they do need to reconnect him to Lucy Lane. Mon-El needs to move on and out. It is their way of Having Superman without really having him.

I enjoy it. My favorite eps were probably when Superman was on.

Not yet. As someone who likes Flash and hates Arrow, think I will enjoy it?

Yes. I watch it. It is nothing like the majority of Supergirl (Kara Zor-El and Linda Danvers) comic books which I am a big fan of and had Supergirl as an edgy and aggressive character whereas Kara is more like a female version of Clark Kent in this show but I still watch it and I am looking forward to FINALLY getting a big 'Supergirl' villain (Reign) in the show and seeing Power Girl and the Legion which have both been talked about for Season 3.

Absolutely! Huge, huge fan! Probably the best superhero series on air right now. It's far from perfect but it is still greatly entertaining. Melissa Benoist, whom I was unfamiliar with, is a revelation. She's really invested 100% in the double role of Kara/Alex and it shows. She's absolutely charming. I'm glad Kara is no longer with the tedious, annoying & pathetic Jimmy aka "Guardian". What a useless character. I hope he's pushed in the backburner for season 3 or killed off. Chris Wood as Mon-El is a much needed breath of fresh-air. I really enjoy the character, despite a few flaws and mistakes. Plus, the chemistry between Kara & Mon-El is very intense. Winn is also a very adorable and funny character. He's like the best buddy everyone wants to have. I'm also quite please to see Chyler Leigh as Alex, she was awesome as Lexie on Grey's Anatomy. But to me, the best of the show is Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant! What an amazing role for her. She obviously has a lot of fun playing this tigress and it shows. I missed her in season 2 and was glad when she came back toward the end. Hopefully, we'll see her more often in season 3.

I also love the character of Mon-el and like them as a couple. It's also interesting that they made her sister a lesbian. I also missed Calista Flockhart. She was fabulous in the part. Missed her last season but I'm glad to see that she is coming back. In one ep Calista makes mention of Harrison Ford but says he is to old for her

I think in another ep, Cat Grant also says she's never seen Star Wars.

I noticed that and it was definitely deliberately put in there by the writers 'cause of Calista being married to Harrison Ford. I wonder if they could get him to appear in the show. I am a fan of Cat Grant and Calista in particular too and was wondering if you have ever seen 'Ally McBeal' and 'Brothers and Sisters?' If not you should check both of them out.

That would be awesome of they could get him as a guest star. Do you think Calista will be in it full time this coming season?

I love the show because it reminds me of the comics I read in the 60s. It is so positive & so cool.

I posted a thread about this on another section of the forum. I am a fan and have watched every episode, but I was a bit turned off at the fact that they get a little heavy handed with the partisan political commentary sometimes.

I tried. I really did. I watched most of the first season, but these CW shows are EXTREMELY cheesy. It can be hard to watch sometimes because the writing and acting is so cringe worthy.

I watch the show and I like it very much. There a re few things on the show that bother the heck out of me but that is a discussion for another thread maybe.
BTW. I think the entire "Arrowverse" should have it's own section in the popular series and fan favorites area of this board.

"these CW shows are EXTREMELY cheesy. It can be hard to watch sometimes because the writing and acting is so cringe worthy." Uh.... they're superhero shows so they're supposed to be cheesy. As for the acting being cringe worthy, that's very debatable. Some actors and actresses from those shows have delivered some really good performances in certain episodes. Of course, none that it is even half as good as Viola Davis, Vera Farmiga's, Freddie Smith's, Tatiana Maslany's, Jessica Lange's or Sarah Paulson's, but still quite good.
