Any of you ever seen it? Is it as bad as its reputation suggests? I hear it's the worst reviewed movie in the history of rottentomatoes.com.

I turned it off after ten minutes, IIRC. It was bad.

It's terrible, but in a mildly entertaining way.

3/10 Really lame film that makes little sense. Some decent action though.

I was reasonably entertained, but I was expecting something more frenetic due to its title and also the name of the director ("KAOS").

Don't hear about it much in the annals of bad filmmaking.

I remember when I was 10 being appalled by how bad the trailers were. Can't imagine how bad the actual film is.

That film was a confusing mess with an even more confusing plot. You'd get more of a story from someone mashing together the most violent moments from their own GTA playthrough.
There was someone on its IMDb page who defended it to the death.

That title is far stupider than the film itself.

Never seen it, but I remember it looked terrible. And yeah, what the hell is with the title? Hell, just call it Ballistic if you really couldn't come up with anything else. Are we supposed to know who Ecks and Sever are?! That title only works if the movie came out in 1988 and you cast Arnold and Stallone.

I saw it in a theater when it came out. It's mind numbing. A soulless exercise in post-Matrix stylized violence.

That title is far stupider than the film itself. My sentiments exactly.

I have it on DVD. Lucy Liu is gorgeous. I'd watch her reading the phone book.

I remember thinking...oh the guy that played Darth Maul is in this!...when it was released. But itβs probably been that long since Iβve seen it. Unmemorable.

The plot and characters in BALLISTIC: ECKS VS. SEVER (an FBI agent and a DIA agent have to kill each other, but then they find out they have an enemy in common) are boring. The action sequences aren't memorable, but they don't really have major technical flaws. Jay Cassidy and Caroline Ross' editing is fast, but not the point of incomprehension. Julio Macat's cinematography (especially in the aquarium scene) is decent, and so are Antonio Banders and Ray Park's performances. Contrary to popular belief, stoic characters aren't an excuse for actors to not make an effort. They still have to display menace and intensity. Does Lucy Liu pull it off? Yes and no. Her ability to be convincing changes depending on the scene. A couple of songs feet out of place. The scene I want to highlight involves our hero and a little girl who stares at him quietly. It's pretty funny! 3/10 ------------------------------------- You can read comments of other movies in my blog.
