Avi Arad is a producer on this and I bet he has a lot to do with it. That guy screwed up a lot of superhero movies back in the day.
I'd rather see the Black Suit/Venom done right in a Spider-Man movie.

He practically let ‘Ghostbusters: Answer the Call’ fiasco to completely spin out of control because he thought it would give the film a lot of attention and make it successful as a result. Oh, how that backfired BIG TIME. I don't think he practically did anything, he flat out let that fucking thing go crazy, was he the one who put Feig and those involved on the project also? if so that's even worse, who the fuck though Paul Feig could make a good GB movie? his stuff isn't just comedy but parody and GB wasn't a brand you should be parodying to relaunch it as a franchise. Pretty much. ’Ghostbusters: Answer the Call’ is also the only time I truly question the film’s RottenTomatoes rating. While it wasn’t the worst, it was absolutely NOT 70s-worthy. My guess is that the environment was so hostile to a point where critics were scared to review it honestly.

Tom Rothman is basically Kathleen Kennedy. So wherever he goes, disaster follows? I guess you could call his involvement The Rothman Prophecies. (Thank you, thank you. I'll be here all night.) Get it? Mothman Prophecies? Anyone familiar with the book or the film? Was this too obscure for the joke to work?

That does not mean it's going to be a worse movie, or that if it had been R rated that it would have been a better movie.
It only means that it will be less gory and have only one or two f-bombs. That's all.
Get over it, folks.

The problem is, it’s likely that Sony cut it down to PG-13.

Speaking of that film for whatever reason I loved it as a kid.

Im not too fussed. They still can make pg13 adult, darker and mature which I expect it will be.
I think Sony wants to appeal to the widest audience to generate the most revenue and who can blame them. This is their first major release of a comic book property in 4 years. They need to have a financial hit on their comeback and if it means widening the audience to accommodate pg13 then I dont see a major problem.

In fact, it was this deftly-written dialogue that gave me full confidence in the project's adult-oriented tone. Given your professed expertise in the sciences, how fast do you think the wind needs to be blowing in order to move a freshly-evacuated human turd down a typical city street?

I wont be surprised if that line of dialogue is cut. But the trailer other than that is of a throwback nature as pointed out earlier.

That's really sad, no balls these guys. And that's because of an annoying kiddie, with a laughable costume. I just can hope that Morbius or Bloodshot won't have the same fate.
