I think The Royal Tenenbaums is his best work.

Marv I have seen clips of Tarantino films and read enough about them and know myself well enough to know that I would be better off avoiding his films … well respected tho' he and they may be.

Federico Fellini Orson Welles Turn-about …. deliberate ? Nope. Just less accessibility at this point. They don’t often play 8-1/2 or Citizen Kane on tv.

Marv I have seen clips of Tarantino films and read enough about them and know myself well enough to know that I would be better off avoiding his films … well respected tho' he and they may be. That’s fine. I was just curious because thereve been plenty of opportunities. I feel like a lot of these lists include dated directors whose careers are typically over and are probably dead. I think most have the same reasons as me for not seeing any, that being simple accessibility. Tarantino being current, his accessibility is at a high...versus someone like Kurosawa or Fellini. Knowhatimean?

Marv idoknowwhatchamean … the local libraries and on line have many of the oldies but goodies readily available for when you get around to watching them. 8.5 is the Fellini I have seen and many of the Welles' … some I enjoyed more than others. add La Strada !
