Which seat do you prefer on an airplane? Window or aisle seat?

Which seat do you prefer on an airplane? Window or aisle seat? I prefer an aisle seat, but it doesn't matter that much.

As much as I like to look out the window occasionally, I probably prefer the aisle so I can stretch my legs and I don't have to wait for the guy I'm sitting with to wake up so I can take a leak.

Depends how long the flight is, but if I'm on the aisle, I still need to see out of the window so I know when we're landing. I was on a flight once and I thought we were still 1,000 feet up when the wheels hit the runway.

I want the window seat because I like attempting to identify landmarks. When flying into or out of LaGuardia, Manhattan is an awesome sight.

What I'd really like is a first class window seat that's also an aisle seat. Like the pods on Emirates.

Window. Aisle IS for those with incontinence problems which I thankfully DON'T have.

As long as I'm not stuck in the middle, either is fine with me.

Aisle seat as close to the center of the plane as possible. I hate to fly.

Window. I'm a window watcher in any car, bus, train, or plane. I love seeing the reality of where I am on a map.
As for washroom breaks, I don't drink a lot prior to flight. I usually go when aisle person is actively awake. I don't really enjoy going in the air anyways. Standing on the vibrating floor of the plane for #1 isn't natural, my body doesn't wanna.

I like to sit by the window, but then I keep it closed. I have an extreme fear of heights!

But I do have a fear of falling from them.
