A very overrated arena. It's famous because of where it is--in the heart of New York City, and because it's hosted so many legendary events, but as an arena, it's not that great. The amenities are just average at best, it has an unusual look but it's not that aesthetically attractive, and there are plenty of seats with bad or even partially obstructed views for some events. It could also be easier to get into and out of, even ignoring the problems of getting into and out of (midtown) Manhattan if you're not living or staying nearby. boston garden fan?
