Ok, so BP isn't one of my favorite MCU movies, might not even make it to my top 5, but it is still a great movie by any measure. Yet people here act like it's pretty meh and only a mid-tier MCU movie at best... which seems a tad biased and unobjective.

I'd say it's more than Mid tier. Probably Mid-High Tier like Thor Ragnarok.

If you want to get into the anti-MCU set you gotta stomp hard on that BP shit. Anti-mcu for life, kid. There are a lot of DC fans here (Nothing wrong with that) who seem to hate success. Basically, Black Panther is a victim of its own popularity.
If BP had been a Fox or DC movie, you'd constantly get people like DC-fan or summers8 asking "why can't Disney make mature movies like Black Panther."

Calling a movie average is not hate.
I also think people got sick of the race baiting and how there could not be any real criticism of the film.
regardless of skin color, all movies must be fairly judged, movies that aren't get disserviced. this has been the problem with mcu movies, BP took it to another level.

Because of all the Oscar hype its getting and when some MCU fanatics keep pushing it as some sort of cinematic masterpiece. If the film had an all white cast, would it get this much main stream attention and "acclaim"?

And the CGI was offensively bad.

Saying something is "mid-tier" or "meh" is not "hating", it's saying it's mediocre. BP's a pretty ok MCU film, but it's no cinematic masterpiece by any stretch, conceptually or in execution.
- so, Africans can create an sci-fi utopia? But only by an act of God, and they essentially stay savages, including primitive leader clobber-fights, rites and screaming like monkeys...? And they keep all the progress for themselves...? Who wrote this, some white dudes essentially despising Africans, but lusting for American Manchild money? So MCU...
- The writing is uneven: Act One starts out like a Black-Bond parody, then in segues into the War for the Planet of the Ape narrative (leader challenged, defeated, challengers goes to war, leader redemtion and return etc), and the last act is essentially a silly battle remisniscent of TPM's Gungan battle. The tone is all over teh place (still better than 90% of MCU)
- Guilty of ridiculously cheap CGI - anybody here ever seen how real rhinos look? This is not an alien planet, this is supposed to be earthly Africa, it should look like it.
Jeez, MCU even planned to drop all the African accents after CW like they did with the Witch character's Russian one, but were persuaded by the cast that this would be disrespectful.

And the CGI was offensively bad. I would have been ok with that if critics called it out. just shy of 4 months ago they were all mocking justice league's cgi. also the fight scenes were so basic...no style the director, ryan is an indie drama guy see Greed. the mcu cgi stuff is not his thing.

I agree with you on Justice League. Both films had equally bad CGI and both equally deserved to be mock. Since studios are using more and more CGI we need to be very vocal about how they handle it. I'm tired of the constant bad CGI, even if it's in a good movie like Wonder Woman. Studios either need to put more time and effort into it or use less of it.

It does not get hate. It is a decent movie, but constantly gets touted as the greatest comic book film ever and being pushed for Best Picture when Thor 3 and Infinity War were clearly better movies.

Because Black Panther is the greatest superhero movie of all time!
If you doubt me, you can refrence many posts by DC-Fan and Tristan Incarnate explaining how the determining methodology is beyond reproach.
Then, of course, is the butthurt. Lots and lots of butthurt.

lol. look at everyone say its a mid tier mcu movie. haha Disney thinks it needs Oscars. At the point in which you said this not a single person had commented on it being mid tier, what the fuck are you delusional or something?
Also I doubt Disney thinks it needs or deserves Oscars, well maybe costume or something I dunno, I don't care about the technical one's, hell I barely give a greasy rats shit about the main ones, but does Disney think it can win an Oscar? yeah just like DC thought Wonder Woman could get awards last year, they see the fan and critical response and current political climate of America and figure they have a shot at winning some gold.
It's all a bunch of wank anyway how many times have people won awards essentially for lifetime acheivements rather than the merit of the product they are winning for, how often are former Oscar winners automatically assumed to be nominee worthy that year, even if the film they made, performance they gave story they told good but unspectacular?

As more time passes it is becoming clearer and clearer to me that Black Panther is a bad movie. It's boring and borderline racist. If anything, the film's critics have been too kind. I don't think it will be seen as a bad movie, but I think people trust in critics have waved completely. it will be seen like ghostbusters 2.

Why the hate? same reason wonder woman got it, fun movies being touted as great films off of the back of people having agenda's be it pro-female or pro-black, instead of simply praising the films for what they deserve people went and still go OTT over both acting like they are miracles when their both just run of the mill good cbm's, WW is better out of the two though.
Oh and you know petty people who have their knickers in a twist because the MCU is the most successful cbm franchise ever and still going strong, so to make themselves and their chosen brand feel bigger they need to tear down the MCU films.
Also BP is a film clearly designed primarily to goad a reaction out of American audiences and African americans even more specifically, so it doesn't translate everywhere else, again similar to WW, but in other countries where the problems are not so severe that these films are looking to piggyback off the public out cry of the films don't carry as much weight, and so they don't resonate as well with non-americans maybe.
