They hung up 48 on the Saints last week. And this weekend, they beat the world champion Philadelphia Eagles.
What do you think? Fluke? Flash in the pan? Legitimate contender? Better than last year?
What do you think?

Unless his performance goes down, I think Fitzpartick should remain the starting quarterback. Even when Winston comes back.

They're a playoff contender because their receiving group is so explosive. Jackson, Evans, Howard, Godwin are big reasons for Fitzpatrick's success. Frankly, I think they'd be just as good with Winston. Their playcalling is much, much better than last year since Dirk Koetter ceded offensive duties to his OC.
Defense is iffy to say the least. But I can see them in the mix for the division or a wild card spot.

Winston was putting up some really good numbers in the preseason. The lack of running game may come back to bite them, but through two games, they have more yards than anybody. Their pass catchers are so talented. Winning in New Orleans puts them in a good starting place in a talented division.

They should bring back the creamsicle unis and Bucco Bruce.
See what happens when the real Ryan Fitzpatrick comes back. I’ve seen his act before. “Holy Heroin, he’s the real deal. Oh, wait...”

They are an improved flash in the pan. Slight chance of play off spot this year, but nothing long term.

I think it hinges on their decisions once Winston comes back but at this point there’s no reason not to think they could be a playoff contender.

Obviously, Fitzpatrick won't keep up the pace of the 1st two games, but they need to step up their defense to have a legitimate playoff shot. I think if they give the starting QB job back to Winston their chances diminish greatly.

I would seriously bet money they miss the playoffs. I always love the huge overreactions after week two.

I would seriously bet money they miss the playoffs. I always love the huge overreactions after week two. It’s literally a coin flip the past 2 years if you start 2-0. Half the teams made the playoffs and half missed.

They are better than last year, and Fitzpatrick has been very impressive, but I don’t think Fitzpatrick will continue this outstanding level of play, and their defense is below average, and they are in a division with 3 good teams that made the playoffs last year, so I don’t see them as a playoff contender.
