If there's a whinier, more pathetic, more useless fuckboi in all the history of horror, I have yet to see them.

Not many horror films have Mexican stereotypes.

Not many horror films have Mexican stereotypes. Is that really a Mexican stereotype? To be a selfish and dickish little ingrate?

Not many horror films have Mexican stereotypes. I didn't know he was a Mexican character.

I hated the character. Actually, I didn't care for any of the characters in that movie. I was up for the zombies.

If a zombie apocalypse did break out I would not be too stable either.

Absolutely. What about when his bitten arm is amputated with a machete and then cauterized with a flaming torch - and he cries out in agony. What a complete wuss.

Miguel's character has the potential to be so excruciatingly irritating, but I think Anthony Dileo Jr's performance is so good. Anyone who has suffered through anxiety or depression has a little Miguel inside of them trying to claw his way to the surface during overwhelming times and he usually explodes to the surface as soon as that anxious person gets back to their private place. Back when I was in a band I was also looking for a recording to sample the line "You made me look like an asshole out there, you made me feel a piece of shit, you stay away from me with that Sarah". That's the extraverted expression of acting out on your anxiety, embarrass yourself, have a meltdown, blame someone else.

True, none of the characters were very likable and there was an obvious tension - maybe 'class resentment' is the right term - between the scientists and military guys. As awful as Rhodes was, he was easily my favorite character. Rhodes and Sarah were the strongest characters in the film, both of them seemed to maintain their composure and grip on reality while everyone else was 'losing it'. Rhodes wanted to wipe out the zombies while Sarah wanted to study and understand them, so it was no wonder they hated each other and that one of them (Rhodes) would eventually break. The black helicopter pilot and drunken radio guy (sorry, I forget their names) seemed sane too, hence, they kept their distance from everyone else in the compound. They were somewhat likable.

If it hasn't been done before then how is it a stereotype? Since his name is Miguel did your sjw alarm go off?

He didn't want to live anymore but the others did. He could have just killed himself but instead risked the lives of people who took care of his worthless selfish ass. How in any way at all did he redeem himself? He was a gutless sack of shit any way you look at it.

It's poor Rickles I feel sorry for.........or more precisely, Ralph Marrero - the actor who played him.
What a horrible way to go out.

Rhodes pulled a gun on his own soldier and later executed an unarmed man. He was most definitely not maintaining his composure. He was losing it just as much as everyone else.
