He seems somewhat of a unknown. but I think unless something really goes wrong, it's a Bond movie and should pretty much sell itself. I think the Craig era is pretty much the overall best era of Bond movies it contains my #1(Skyfall)/2(Casino Roayle)/4(Spectre) where as Connery, who would be my 2nd choice based on Bond movie quality, only has #3/5/7.
I am still confident we will have a reasonably good quality Bond movie especially since 3 out of 4 of the Craig era are among my top Bond movies straight up. even if Bond 25 is not as good as Skyfall(9/10)/Casino Royale(9/10)/Spectre(7.5-8/10) I am confident it will top Quantum of Solace(6/10(a mild Thumbs Up)). I still have decent hopes of getting a 7/10 level Bond movie which if that happens that would be within my Top 191 movies (out of the 2,200+ total movies I have seen) straight up currently.
it will be interesting to see how this director does since they are going with a non-name director unlike 3 out of the 4 Craig era movies which the only weak link of the Craig era is the one without the name director (i.e. Quantum of Solace) but it seems that one was rushed a bit where as Bond 25 does not seem to be.
My top Bond movies (which are the only ones among My Favorite Movies in general which is currently 190 movies)...
1.Skyfall (2012) - 9/10 (within my Top 26 movies) 2.Casino Royale (2006) 3.Goldfinger (1964) - 7.5-8/10 (within my Top 104 movies) 4.Spectre (2015) 5.From Russia with Love (1963) - 7-7.5/10 (not much outside of my Top 104 movies) 6.Licence to Kill (1989) - 7/10 (within my Top 190 movies) 7.Dr. No (1962)

Was Martin Scorsese unavailable? Yeah, he's gotta keep stripper Bryan Callen on a leash for that Joker movie.
