Let's say the entire current DCEU was scrapped and rebooted, all with new actors for all roles. Who would you cast for the different roles?

They can't recast Gal Gadot, but I'd be fine with them getting rid of everyone else.

I really don't want another reboot. I rather WB/DC put the films on Hiatus.
Seriously let's stop it with the reboots and remakes.

Andre cedano would go ballistic at that lol. But i think beyond his fanaticism he has a point, Batfleck and Henry Cavill are the best Batman (older) and Superman to be cast and it would be a huge waste just to release them because you want to reboot. Theres not many A list actors left who havent done a comic book movie so casting would be difficult.

They can recast all the big names like Batman & Supes, or even Flash, just because the character is important, not so much the actor behind it - and we've seen countless actor changes with them. Same with Supergirl and Catwoman.
Good luck with Gal Godot and Aquaman: same as with the MCU heros: these have essentially been coined by their actors. I think they live and die with them. Audiences will not accept a change easily.

I think the actors they have are pretty great for the most part. I'm just putting a what if scenario.

And it would be stupid to get rid of an already iconic on screen version of the character, especially since it's a huge money maker. And for what? To retry something that already failed? Either keep going with the same actors, recast all but WW and Aquaman, or just discard the shared universe and continue with whatever solo movies work.

IF Aquaman is a hit, I think they should seriously consider a WW / Aquaman team up film. I don't know a whole lot about their timelines, but I would think it could even be set a thousand years ago, if they wanted.

Its all the behind the scenes stuff, the studio heads indecisiveness, etc. that's been the problem. I think we all agree that the cast has been fine so far, Gal Gadot certainly won people over, Cavill is well liked enough, and Affleck was much better than folks thought he was going to be.
Better directors and writers is the answer! That, and someone in charge of the DCEU for WB that has some balls. They need a Kevin Feige type. Someone with a plan and some focus. Geoff Johns MIGHT, MIGHT, be that guy, but I would say he's not experienced enough at this time. But someone has to take the reins.
Shit, I've heard better ideas on these boards than some of the things they've been talking about doing over there! SHIT, I'LL TAKE THE FUCKING JOB! Couldn't be any worse!

Ok I'll actually bite. Come on, guys let's have some fun. I would probably cast the following roles as such:
Superman - Armie Hammer
Batman - Josh Hartnett
Wonder Woman - Rebecca Ferguson
Aquaman - Sam Claflin
Flash - Glen Powell
Cyborg - O'Shea Jackson Jr.
Green Lantern - Michael B. Jordan

I like your suggestion of Armie Hammer, going to include that in my list: Superman - Armie Hammer Batman - Jon Hamm (Ray Stevenson would also be nice) Wonder Woman - Blake Lively Flash - Zac Efron Aquaman - Joe Manganiello Cyborg - Jamal Duff Green Lantern - Idris Elba Lex Luthor - Shemar Moore

Gadot has become this DC generation's Christopher Reeve in that others will try to emulate her as Wonder Woman or be ridiculed for not being like her. Momoa hasn't cemented Aquaman in that people still say he should have been Lobo. Or call him Bro-man. If they rebooted Aquaman and made him totally different, I don't think people would care.
