My point is that Antifa is a militant group that is decidedly not Republican nor military. Militancy is not something exclusive to Republicans or the military. And I still want to know about whatever rule is being discussed. So you are saying that ANTIFA has militant values, but they are leftist? I get that point. My question was are 'most' people with militant values and in the military republican right wing? That is my guideline, so if this was to be the case or 'general rule' and I am not saying it is yet—which I know you get, but in your obtuseness, claimed you didn't know why they militant and military were strung together...Duh!—is militancy something that is 'predominantly' exclusive to republicans or right wing conservatives in the west?
No militancy is not predominantly exclusive to Republicans or right wing conservatives in the west. The linking of militancy to military is an etymological fallacy.

Nope, the stats show that those who earned under 30k voted 53% Clinton 41% Trump. Those who made over 50k voted 46% Clinton and 50% Trump. Yes, many working class fools bought the anti-immigrant macho ranting of a Republican. But the numbers show those with lower incomes were more inclined to vote Clinton than Trump.

The world has clearly changed A LOT since the Clinton era. AND, I think those "stats" must be wrong.
That ANY working class people bought his BS is incredible to me. The man has never known a hard time in his life. He was born rich, got sent out into the world with a only million dollars of daddy's money in his pocket, marries and bangs models, lives in a penthouse in NYC in which there's a room laden in gold, and skates away from failed businesses (Atlantic City, Trump University, etc.) with no problem! And somehow poor rural Appalachia thought this guy was one of them?! I guess it's true... the bigger the lie...

America's Big Lie is that most people are middle class. We don't have class consciousness as they do in Europe. So poor and working class Americans are duped into believing they are "middle class". Marx explained this all clearly more than 200 years ago. Only those who own the means of production are bourgeoisie or "middle class". Even most white collar workers and professionals don't own businesses. Most Americans are proletariat but don't realize it. The goofballs in your photos who voted for Trump are definitely proles.

So if militant attitudes and behavior is not 'predominately' or 'mostly' exclusive to republican right conservatives in the west, what it the ratio then of right wing to left wing in the military, and\or those that support the defense force?

Members of the military join for many different reasons, and we end up with people from varied backgrounds and ideals. Young men and women I personally know going into the military are doing it to do things like take advantage of the educational opportunities while in the military, the careers they can start during their enlistment, and the GI Bill benefits they can take advantage of after they leave. None of these people that I know express any political or militant desire for their reason to enter. As far as ratios of political leanings in the military, here's a study from a few years ago that may help. link

So while there is diversity in political persuasion, it can still be claimed that the Republican mindset is still dominate in military circles.
I understand the vocational reasons for why people would join the military, however, it must be understood, and unless they are completely dense, they will be called upon to ACT in a 'militant manner' should the so-called need arise. It makes them bunnies to my mind—or sheep, or herd—and I would question anyone—right or left lean—who feel that they need to serve the dubious, grandstanding and self-serving agendas of a controlling, egotistical, manipulating, disloyal and even ignorant institution.

I have a strong opinion on that. Fools who don't vote are usually too stupid to understand the issues so their opinions are pretty much irrelevant. They're ill informed and don't understand politics.

LOL, compare that statement the seemingly innocent question that started it off: Are military\militant people mostly republican........or are there some liberals amongst them? Was it a genuine question, or a loaded question intended to call those who serve in the military either militants or sheep?

them1ghtyhumphor because they figured that snake Hillary Clinton was easily the worse of the two. so Trump was the better candidate by default. basically after Obama from 2008-2016... people were tired of the BS and wanted real change. so Trump was naturally the better choice as Clinton would have been more of the same but on steroids (i.e. that's bad). I don't regret voting for Trump at all (in fact, the Nov 2016 election was the first time I voted even though I could have voted since late 1997) as the more the mainstream media dislikes Trump the more good he's getting done for the common person/citizen. when they go silent and start praising you, like they basically did with Obama, is when you got problems. democrats/mainstream media is against the common person/citizen. Trump 2020

Don't worry, there are plenty of others who share that belief and I'm sure there will be a great amount of preaching and confirmation going on when the meeting occurs. It doesn't change that reality is so much more complex than the generalizations we try to apply to it.

I know, right? How dare a person of color like movies and tv and dare to discuss them with white folks? Your ignorance of swarthy people is disgusting even for a european. I know y'all rarely if ever interact with anyone but other whites but that's still no excuse. That's your cue to invent some black "friends" thus proving you're not they typical hypocritical white liberal. Keep on goosestepping sweetie. my dear, paranoid, confused and self absorbed Poelzig. you believed i thought you were white because you "like movies and tv and dare to discuss them with white folks"? thats adorable. oh darling Poelzig. It had NOTHING to do with you "liking tv and movies and discussing it with :white folks:". But it had everything to do with your vile arrogance, jumpiness, demagogy, and tendencies to stereotype to a truly great extent. I too fell partially in that pit since I stereotyped you. As those qualities are mostly exhibited by white men in my world. The arrogance, the ignorance mixed with aggression. To me those were saying "white guy". that is why I was surprised. thats all. you often act like an entitled, arrogant, bitter and not very well educated ….. white guy . But I believe in u, u Can change this. Just when I thought you couldn't be more of a stereotype you open your doughy suck and spew this "Blah blah blah I hate white men even tho all my friends are white hypocrites like me blah blah blah did I mention white men are evil so I can't be a racist blah blah blah I especially hate American white men so again not a racist blah blah blah ." The only surprise was you didn't mention "Hey everyone hey look at me I review movies. Hello hello Everyone look over here I'm a movie reviewer for a free Belgian weekly newspaper. Granted every idiot with access to the internet is a movie reviewer now but....... yeah. Look at me" I have two degrees and I'm working on my second masters so hopefully I'll meet your superior white lady definition of well educated one day. In the meantime I couldn't help but notice with my inferior education that now that you know I'm not white you hammer me with the age old labels bigots assign to swarthy people. Ignorant, aggressive, vile, arrogant, bitter, entitled. Hmmm you NEVER said any of that when you thought I was a fellow whitey. Just a coincidence you spewed the vitriol now that you know I've got rhythm? Good thing you're not a bigot or you would have been trotting out the N word. Lucky for me you're just a sadly typical smug self loathing white liberal with a tendency towards misandry and denial. Like you said tho you can change. Better hurry tho sweetie. Time is not your ally.

It doesn't change that reality is so much more complex than the generalizations we try to apply to it. The reality of the militant attitude, generalizations or not, creates more suffering and only becomes complex and complicated due to ignorance and lack of understanding of the mind. That is all it boils down too.
