This is the stuff! I usually eat one little square a day and, yes, it's very bitter. I've been eating this for so long now that regular chocolate seems sickeningly sweet.
That's much too bitter for me! Though I do wish I could like chocolate that dark as it's healthier - or so they say.

Have worked up to 85% dark chocolate. And is really good for headaches. Also, doesn't really raise my blood sugar. win win win Good for you. I can't get past 75%, and even that is too bitter for me sometimes.

Dark Chocolate is my favorite. I don't care for milk chocolate except on a Kit Kat Bar. mindbogglingly good! one of the newer chocolate places in barcelona, the snobs kinda look down at this place. dunno why. amazing!

I read an article that said "People should stop pretending to like dark chocolate because it doesn't taste well". I can only sigh! The person who wrote the article most probably thinks taste is an objective thing and applies to everyone in the same way. The writer also believes people like dark chocolate because they want to come off as cool. Lol.
I absolutely love dark chocolate. It tastes so rich and it has a good mixture of bitter and sweet taste. I also occasionally like milk chocolate and white chocolate but I often find them to be too sweet. Even dark chocolate cakes taste so awesome. There is some exaggerated claims made regarding the health benefits of dark chocolate. I agree with that. But still dark chocolate is healthy if you don't overeat it and consume in moderate quantity.
So what do you folks feel about dark chocolate?
Well that guy is an idiot. Truffles(at least the purest ones) are made with dark chocolate. Yes, I happen to make them for my shop. And I don't know what he was eating, but it definitely should not be chalky. I think the guy was actually eating cocoa powder. Which wouldn't surprise me, as it's one those "dare" stupidity things that people do. Health claims, yea that sort of goes with them going back & forth with the wine & coffee claims. Many things can be good and/or bad for you. It's the amount that in in question.

I highly recommend Dove Bar pieces covered in Dove dark chocolate. They are also available in milk chocolate.
