QUESTION - What would be your Plot, Cast, and Crew of your own "ALIENS" Movie ?

I'm not particular about "cast". Unlike most people on IMDB, I've been in theater and I've directed plays, and the fact is that actors are actors. They can play about any role, and if physically incapable, I'm not one of those dorks who have a problem with an actor having a stunt double.


Now, my Alien movie would be what I fully expected Alien 3 to be about long ago, and was disappointed that it wasn't.


I figured Ripley would be in the sleep mode for a hundred thousand years or more, and that she'd wake up to a new Earth species descended from cats, in which case they would think Jones was the owner and Ripley the pet.


The cats would be about the size of humans, maybe even bigger, but would be on four legs, of course, and use tails the way we use fingers. 


They would have characteristics close to the ones we see often in phenotypes of cats already, but more so. The Siamese ones would be the most cruel and hostile ones. The black cats would be skittish and cowardly (the result of not being seen by drivers of vehicles), the white ones would be most unselfish and heroic, the black and white tuxedos would be most loving and protective of human pets, the gray ones would be least conscious of human pets and their plight, the calico ones would be the rogues who like to steal from other cats (including stealing human pets for profit), and so forth.


The cats would be physically superior to the aliens, and capable of beating them one on one, but afraid of being ganged up on by aliens over the years. They would have a society totally against mob rule, and thus against voting and capitalism. 



The plot, of course, would be Ripley teaching other human pets how to be more independent. Jones would receive treatments to increase his ability to communicate. He would be afraid of the aliens at first, but learn to fight them some how. He would at first abandon Ripley to an alien, out of fear, because he wouldn't think he'd have a chance to save her. Other larger cats would save her and their human pets. Then Jones would gradually get more confidence, and in the end save Ripley big time.

The beginning scene would be her vessel coming to Earth remote control, and landing. A scared looking human would enter. He would be well groomed, even clean shaven, an older white male in great shape, but grunting like a savage. He'd open Ripley's compartment, and she'd slowly wake. They would both hide when an alien would enter. Then his tuxedo cat owner would come in looking for him and chase off the frightened alien, and call for him in English:

Tux Cat: Feanor?

Feanor whimpers.

Tux Cat: Feanor? Come on, Feanor.


Feanor comes out with Ripley.


Ripley: You speak?


Feanor: You talk? You talk English?


Ripley: You speak English?


Both: How you speak (talk) English?

Pause:

Both: Hmmm. Strange.

Tux: Come on, both of you. Lets go. Oh, he'll be back, bunches of them be back. Lets go babies.

Ripley gets Jones from cage while Tux speaks.

Tux: Feanor, you know it's too spooky out here for a human. What am I going to do with you, baby? Poor thing. Oh, wow! Look at that little fellow. 

Ripley: His name is Jones.

Tux: He's awful little for a Jones. All the Jones are kind of tall, aren't they? I mean, I'm not tall, but I'm kind of tall I guess. Same for a Jones, isn't it? Oh, you pesky little humans, wasting time talking, poor things. I better get you all out of here.
