I can honestly say I don't have one. The dude is an abomination to acting.

Spike Del ReyHe's better than he gets credit for in my mind especially given he's been in more good movies than most other names in acting... 1)Point Break (1991) - 8/10 (within my Top 55 movies) -)Street Kings (2008) 3)The Devil's Advocate (1997) - 7.5-8/10 (within my Top 104 movies) 4)Speed (1994) - 7/10 5)John Wick (2014) - 6.5-7/10 (within my Top 190 movies) 6)The Neon Demon (2016) - 6-6.5/10 (within my Top 235 movies) -)The Matrix Reloaded (2003) he's got five movies I score a 7 or higher and not many can match or beat him overall. basically he's above most name actors if you ask me in terms of landing in good movies. with that said, in terms of the topic... I don't know if I have a specific scene that comes to mind off the top of my head although in terms of action I like the club scene in John Wick (2014).

Please don't misinterpret this as a critique on your tastes in movies (because we all have different ones), but from reading a lot of your posts I can safely say that yours and mine are vastly different, so it's not entirely surprising we'd disagree on Keanu. I will admit, he has been in a few good movies, but they've been good despite his presence, certainly not because of it.

Spike Del ReyI understand. but since you brought up that our tastes in movies is vastly different, I am curious... do you have a Top 100 or 200 movies or something like that type of list? ; that would probably tell me whether we are 'vastly different' or not. because you can see My Favorite Movies which contains all movies I score a 7/10 or higher as if you don't care much for those then it's pretty safe to say we are not on the same page with movies overall. but I would still be curious to see roughly a equivalent list from you or whatever you feel is solid enough to call a favorite etc. Maybe, but his presence suits some movies well if you ask me. he does not have much range but if you get a movie within the limited range he does have, he's got a solid enough presence if you ask me to where not many could match or beat him if they replaced him in those movies. for some types of movies I would take Keanu over most other name actors who others around these IMDB2 forums would probably say are a "better actor". with that said... I would say Keanu's lack of range shows up here and there but out of the movies of his I consider favorites, which is those 5-7 movies I listed in my previous post in here, The Devil's Advocate is about the only one that comes to mind where some of his scenes you can see his acting is suspect.

mslo79I've never put one together, it's probably something I should take the time to do (especially being active on a board such as this). I have however, done a top ten. Mind you, these are my favorites, not necessarily the "best"...just the ones I can re-watch endlessly. But I would rate all of these at least an 8/10. 1. Jaws 1A. Casablanca 3. Raiders of the Lost Ark 4. Trading Places 5. The Empire Strikes Back 6. Alien 7. Lethal Weapon 2 8. Superman 9. Pulp Fiction 10. The Poseidon Adventure

Spike Del ReyHell, your one of those types who differentiate between 'best' and 'favorite' which I think is pointless as the ones you personally like and tend to re-watch the most pretty much tells us what's really of most value to you. I always rate movies based on how much I personally like them and the further they get away from that the lower the rating (it's hands down the most accurate way to rate movies as it clearly tells other people what stands out to you and what does not rating this way). but basically anything I score a 7/10 or higher is enjoyable enough for me to call a favorite (which is currently 190 movies out of the 2,200+ total I have seen) and those tend to see more re-watches than movies I score in the 6/10 range in general as 6/10's are my minimum score for me to re-watch something (with rare exception to that rule) or to simplify things movies are ultimately apart of one of two categories for me... -5/10 or less = Thumbs Down (won't re-watch (with rare exception)) -6/10 or higher = Thumbs Up (will re-watch) but like I was saying above favorite movie level starts at a 7/10 for me. also, movies I score a 6-6.5/10 are what I refer to as 'The Best of the Rest' (see my signature) as they are movies that are just shy of being Favorite Movie level. While that list is too short to gauge your overall taste in movies in relation to mine, it seems (at least based on that small sample size) your taste in movies is probably similar enough to plenty of people out there based on those ten movies as while I doubt many people would list the same ten movies, as we all got our preferences, I don't think your choices are TOO different from probably most people in the English speaking world which I generally see as a good thing as it seems occasionally you will find someone who has tastes in movies that, while it's fine for them to like whatever they want, they tend to be TOO different from most people and their opinions on movies would probably be of less value to the common person because of it. so in this regard your okay (which is a good thing) but ill say this... in terms of Lethal Weapon, I think the first movie is hands down the most re-watchable/best/most enjoyable to watch of the series as it's within my Top 104 movies and Pulp Fiction is within my Top 26 movies. I have basically seen 8 out of the 10 movies you listed there but the only one I score a 7 or higher is Pulp Fiction which I gave a 9/10. although I do at least mildly like (as in I score a 6/10 minimum) 4 out of the 8 movies on your list that I have seen. I used to like Superman (1978) back-in-the-day but on a attempted re-watch of it on May 8th 2015 I could not finish it due to boredom and killed it 1hr10min into the movie. NOTE: Man of Steel (2013) (6-6.5/10 ; within my Top 235 movies) is my favorite super hero movie at this point in time. thanks for your time.
