Damn, what a solid album. Supposedly recorded in 3 hours. Produced by Paul Simon. Never heard of him or any of his songs, even though some were recorded by more recent and/or famous artists.

Great album, one that belongs in the upper echelon of folk albums.
Lead an interesting, but somewhat tragic life. Survivor of a school fire, that hospitalized him, he was in a relationship with Sandy Denny, and also suffered from paranoid schizophrenia.
Recommend the 'Blues Run the Game' anthology.

the song MILK AND HONEY was used to great effect in THE BROWN BUNNY. its like the perfect melancholic song for the american highway.
