Week 4 Rules: simply pick the winner of each game listed. No score required (though a little added commentary on your picks won't be discouraged). You must make your picks before the first game of the week (usually Thursday Night Football) to be eligible for all the games. If you miss Thursday, you can still make picks for Saturday/Sunday games. If you haven't picked the Sunday games by the start of the first game (1pm EST), your picks won't count.
If I've liked your post, consider your picks logged and recorded. So if you want to change them, best tell me in another post.

Tristramshandy Arnold Rothsteined us!!! I'm surprised I got out of this debacle of a pick em week looking that good with an 8-8. Nearly everyone got hosed. Minnesota @ LA Rams: Rams Cincinnati @ Atlanta: Atlanta Tampa Bay @ Chicago: Chicago Detroit @ Dallas: Detroit Buffalo @ Green Bay: Green Bay Houston @ Indianapolis: Indianapolis NY Jets @ Jacksonville: Jets Miami @ New England: New England Philadelphia @ Tennessee: Philadelphia Seattle @ Arizona: Seattle Cleveland @ Oakland: Oakland San Francisco @ LA Chargers: Chargers New Orleans @ NY Giants: Giants Baltimore @ Pittsburgh: Pittsburgh Kansas City @ Denver: KC I'm starting to agree with the pundits that the Vikings are the most overrated team this season. Not talent wise, but just in their desire. They didn't show up for last years NFC championship game and got embarrassed, and they were caught with their pants down, probably looking past the lousy Bills to the Rams this Thursday. I'm going with the Rams who are probably the only consistently good team in the NFC right now. Being the only undefeated NFC team counts for something! Atlanta wins the shoot out with the Bengals, although this might be another OT game that hinges on a FG. Chicago can totally beat Tampa at home if the Steelers could go into Tampa's house and win. Detroit finds new life and they cannot afford to lose against Dallas. The Cowboys have looked awful on both sides of the ball. Green Bay hosts the Bills and I don't think they will make the same mistake Minnesota did. The Texans are awful, so Andrew Luck should be able to hang some points on them. If the Titans could hold the Jags to 6 points then the Jets might be able to. Wishful thinking. New England gets their act together and wins one of the biggest division games of the week. Philadelphia gets by Tennessee. Arizona is a mess. Seattle took care of Dallas rather easily so they should be able to go into the Cardinals house and handle them. Oakland FINALLY gets their first win against the Browns in the Black Hole. Niners are totally fucked without Jimmy G. Chargers gotta be licking their chops. I'm taking the Giants as usual, in a potential 80 pointer score fest that makes the offense happy viewers cream in their pants. Total bloodbath in Pittsburgh when the Ravens come in. These games are usually mean and nasty, and I look to the Steelers to get back on track now that they have some momentum with the victory over Tampa. Chiefs are red hot! Denver is so-so. If any team can go into Mile High and win, it's them.

Yikes, took a beating. 2nd week in a row I didn't go with my gut and pick Miami. And I really wanted to go with Pitt last night.

majority of games you could have flipped back and forth between one team and the other IMO..........
I hover around .500 for the year - i'm a happy camper - just look at the standings - we're all pretty much hovering around .500 besides a few outliers.....so we're pretty much all in the same boat.....

I agree. Im only 2 games out of 3rd place...just like everyone else. I just wanted to see if all my internal deliberation even matters or if i might as well just flip a coin. Just a test run.

shocked over the Dolphins success and gravely disappointed in the Texans.
rosen has been named the starter going forward for the Cards - so going forward we have Mayfield, Darnold, Allen, Rosen all starting - fun times ahead - hoping the NY media doesn't kill Darnold after his hot start if he does falter - growing pains. just like I'm hoping Mayfield doesn't get egged if he has a dud this week.......

You should do a "no edits" type of rule where, if your post is showing as having been edited after the start of a game, your picks won't count, thus forcing the participants to create separate posts if they want to change a pick for, say, the Monday night game. Just so as to avoid an Aye Lewis type situation where someone picks the Jets but halfway through the game, changes their pick to the other team and the other team wins. Even if you 'like' their post, they could annoyingly and unrelentingly insist that they picked the other team despite your claims to have logged their Jets pick. Even when using the honor system, all it takes is one doofus to ruin it for everyone and looks like you have a doofus or two among the crowd.
Ugh, remember that Aye Lewis character? He fucking ruined the pick em league that year.

Read how FOX is treating its TNF as must-see tv for ratings, unlike CBS & NBC who were previously afraid of losing marquee Sunday games. Fact is, fans will watch late Sunday games & SNF regardless. TNF needs the boost & FOX is doing it right.

kind of epic in a way the 2 leaders - Tristan (San Diego) and Orson (Toronto) don't even have NFL teams in their home cities.
hey orsonsmelles did you watch Kawhi Leonards press conference for the Raptors? he's saying all the right things. what do you think? just a ploy to run to L.A. next year as he puts his 'big boy pants' on for a year to try a get a big contract?

I think it goes without saying that if someone edits their post after the games have started, I certainly won't listen to any protestations they may have later. Edits are suspicious but it has happened that people have edited their post just a minute or two after originally posting, usually to correct a typo or something. AyeLewis was a jerk but I don't think the same could happen here; he got the threads deleted by reporting them. The most anyone could do here is whine which would serve little purpose.
