Anyone else watch Dateline, or any other true-crime show? For some reason I love Dateline. The episodes are really compelling. I was watching Bill Hader’s Keith Morrison parody from SNL, and I had a completely random concept for a possible film: what if there were a true-crime host like Keith Morrison who was actually a Lecter-esque serial killer? Random, I know.

, I LOVE 'Dateline', '48 Hours', 'Forensic Files' and MOST other shows like them.

There was one last Saturday—I think it was a rerun—in which they compared the killer to Lecter. The police figured out the guy’s identity in the beginning, but the more they looked into the case, the more convoluted and creepy it got. It was really an eerie one, with how twisted and insane the tale became.
