This is actually quite hard to choose. Masters of the Universe was a solid flick from my childhood. My cousin owned it and I feel like most sleepovers we would wind up watching that and/or Terminator 2.
I didn’t watch Flash Gordon til I was in my 20s but I loved it.
I will give the edge to Masters for nostalgia.

Flash Gordon for sure. I grew up with the repeats of this on cable. While I like Dolph, I was never that big into He-Man toys. The old animated cartoon was pretty fun though.

Despite being a fan of the 80s He-Man cartoon series since childhood, I felt that Masters of the Universe was a relatively disappointing adaptation. Though Frank Langella's Skeletor did have his moments.
Flash Gordon is just campy fun though. I like it a lot.

Masters of the Universe
Was never into Flash Gordon at all.
By the time the Masters movie came out I had quit watching the cartoon and playing with the toys (I was still playing with G.I. Joes and Super Powers Collection though) but I had just a ton of the figures and vehicles and Castle Greyskull and Snake Mountain.
