The weakest of the Disney era films but not without its moments. Donald Glover steals every scene. Right down to his pronunciation of "Han", it's a perfect Lando. So, did he actually get freaky with his SJW robot girlfriend? I do like seeing when Han and Chewbacca first met. It does answer how Han understands his best buddy. Ultimately, it just feels unneeded. Was anyone just dying to know the story behind the dice hanging in the Falcon? Hell, they even rip a page from Godfather II and have a desk clerk give the main character his last name. Also, with the exception of Emilia Clarke, the film is pretty drab to look at. Mild recommendation - 6.5 out of 10.

What did you think of the Performances from Paul Bettany (Dryden Vos) and Woody Harrelson (Tobias Beckett) ? Also, What did you think of the BIG Cameo at the end ?

Woody is a pretty reliable actor and did fine with his role. Bettany was stuck with a pretty forgettable role. As for the BIG cameo, it was spoiled on this very message board a few months ago.

Game of Thrones girl really plays that part well. Solo is good, Lando is good; I felt for the first time in the entire Star Wars Saga I thought Chewbacca was genuinely intimidating. Interesting to see Vision pop up as well.
Did Lando get it on with his robot? Franlky, I hope so.
How Solo was gifted the name Solo was a bit silly and I've watched the entire Star Wars collection without noticing or caring about the dice, so the movie (for me) gave some satisfactory answers to questions I didn't ask, but I thought it was a nice little movie.
The worst thing about it (truly) for me was how closely it followed The Last Jedi. If it was too soon, then I don't feel bad for their lost revenue, though the silver lining is we have that much wider a gap between it (then) and Episode IX.

I've only seen both of them once, but the fact that I don't even own The Last Jedi yet says something. I walked out of it thinking it was just okay. I walked out of Solo thinking it's a blast. I didn't even know Han had a set of dice, let alone wondered what the back story was. It's not something that needed to be told, however wasn't something that took away from any of the previous movies in any way whatsoever. I thought the movie was well acted and fun. Is it necessary? No, but none of them are at this point, so I don't think it's really legit grounds for taking points off.

Would have made more sense with Jar Jar.

The weakest is undoubtedly Force Awakens, as it's an unoriginal and unimaginative fanfic rehash pandering to the lowest common denominator. 4. TFA: 3.5/10 3. TLJ: 6/10 2. Solo 6.5/10 1. Rogue One 7.5/10

I thought I was the only one who noticed that last name moment echoed Godfather II.

I really enjoyed it. Unnecessary perhaps but better than all the behind-the-scenes ballyhoo suggested.

Are you purposefully trying to be an A-hole or do you honestly think what you do is okay?

Visually ugly, laughably generic plot, bland directing and poor casting. I was VERY bored by Alden Ehrenreich's performance. He captured no part of what makes Han Solo such a memorable character.
The worst Star Wars movie by a large margin for me.
The few things I do like about the movie are Woody Harrelson and Paul Bettany's performances. The performances, not the writing of the characters. Sure, Donald Glover is good at mimicking Billy Dee Williams, but that just made it all the more distracting.
4.5/10

An animated short to enjoy if you liked the Qi'ra character played by Emilia Clarke.
Star Wars: Forces of Destiny - Triplecross
Space pirate Hondo teams up with bounty hunter droid IG-88 to capture Qi’ra, but she outsmarts both her pursuers by pitting them against each other so that she can collect the bounty on them.
